Kota Kinabalu Hotels with Airport pickup service

I initially stayed 2 nights January 2025, climbed Mt Kinabalu, and came back for another night. Different but similar rooms. Very comfortable bed, great shower; mini-fridge and safe also available. Restaurant served good food. A pity the Spa wasn’t open as after my mountain climb I could hardly walk and my legs and back badly needed a massage! Hamizam Bin Ismail, the Front Office Manager, was always very friendly and eager to assist wherever he could.

Good price come with breakfast. Room is spacious. Breakfast basic and acceptable. One BIG PLUS POINT : ALL staffs is fantastic! Absolutely friendly and professional. This makes a main reason why have so many people book this place. Although the building wasn’t very new.

Lovely hotel, a little old (it opened in 1977) but you can feel it has got a lot of character. Kudos to EVIS from Bell Service, he’s a humble gentlemen who loves to engage with his guests. He assisted me with my luggage and escorted me to my room. He knows the hotel inside out and loves to share his insights. Also a shout out to MARY from front desk, she is amazing. She is multi functional with assisting me to check-in PLUS helping me with concierge matters regarding my flight ticket. Exceptional staff. Thank you for having me!

Big hotel compound, and the rooms, service and amenities are good and sufficient. Room furnishing may be a little dated but definitely clean. We had whatever we needed. There was a resort feel to the place and we loved the Christmas decorations. Breakfast buffet was yummy and had wide selection. There were many kids' activities that we wanted to try but didn't have time. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Awesome service, friendly, supportive, kind and professional stuff. Fast and efficient, caring as well. Hotel is by the beach, their private part of the beach is clean and very lovely. Food is tasty, very fair price, different varieties, as well a la carte options are nice and cheap. Highly recommended. Very pleasant stay, location is perfect, activities, gym, golf, bar on the roof with awesome view, bar on the beach as well. Great stay, beds are comfortable, had a very good sleep as well. Thank you all for great experience, appreciation for all stuff members, from management, concierge, dinning stuff and receptionists - exceptional behavior and professionalism! Bravo! p.s. Booked king size with hill view But End Up gave us no view. Then pass us key but hill view with twin beds. My wife scolded them And they End Up gave us Highest floor with king size with hill view. Not sure why the management is like that. Yes the manager called us to apologized but still feel disappointed. Then unlucky again the hair dryer is spoiled haha My wife called 3 Times for 20 minutes But no people send the hair dryer & we were late for the dinner. My wife super angry again haha the New dryer sent to Room but we already went out. Best Part is they gave us extend until 3pm because our boarding time is 4pm. 🙏 Breakfast: I saw many western people walking around And do not know What to Eat haha included me also. Food menu still can improve haha 4 stars breakfast. Swimming view is nice. Hill view Room is nice. Can see Mountain Kinabalu in Morning.

While the property and rooms could benefit from some refurbishment, the stunning beachfront location more than makes up for it. However, if you appreciate a rustic getaway surrounded by mountains and the ocean, with opportunities to spot wildlife like monkeys and monitor lizards, you’re sure to enjoy your stay.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making check-in a breeze. My room was spotless, featuring stunning views and comfortable furnishings. The complimentary breakfast offered a delightful variety of options, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals throughout the day. The location was perfect, just steps from the beach and close to local attractions. I also enjoyed the relaxing pool area, which added to the overall charm. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. I can’t wait to return!

Quite old hotel and smaller than in the photo. Air conditioner also quite old and no cover ..full of dust. No coffee or mineral water and no shampoo provided. Very basic facilities / hotel , just good for stay for a night before move to other part or Sabah. Not sweet for a long holiday.

The room is large, the living room is large, and the kitchen is large and comfortable. You can walk to Kota Kinabalu for ten minutes, walk to the central food market for ten minutes, and go to the seaside for seafood for 15 minutes. There are also drinking streets and old flyovers to buy durian for 20 yuan and 1 kilogram, and mangosteen for 20 yuan and 1 kilogram, which is cheap.
