GGuest UserMe and my family had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. The facilities were amazing, and the outdoor swimming pool is gorgeous. There is also a tennis court, a gym room, an indoor swimming pool and also other facilities. The room is spacious, and the sea view is magnificent. There is also a massive balcony that faces the gigantic ocean. The tub was very nice and there is also a walk-in closet. The hotel lobby is stunning, and the television has movies, tv shows and other kinds of entertainment.
Moreover, the staff was helpful. They helped us a lot. For example, we asked to get a bag of ice, and the staff gave us a whole bucket of ice! They even helped us to put the ice into the drink! Also, they gave my 13-year-old son a free breakfast buffet which were not included in the package of the hotel room we booked, which only offers a 2-adult breakfast buffet meal. The hotel is also very clean.
Moreover, we would love to thank Minnie and Jane, the two of the most helpful and kind staff we have ever met. They were very nice and helped us with a lot of things and we really appreciate what they helped us.
We strongly recommend you stay at this hotel as everything is perfect there and again, we want to thank you Jane and Minnie for their warm services.

NNaughtonWas upgraded to a king suite, which was rather nice. The room is beautiful. Spacious, comfortable, etc. Lovely bathroom, with bath/shower. Reasonable price, considering I've spent as much on worse hotels in HK recently. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
My one gripe is the restaurant. I was at the hotel a fair bit due to online work, and would have happily have spent the whole day/evening there, but the food was far too focused on being 'impressive' rather than good. The decor of the restaurant is extremely dated similar to what was deemed 'traditional China' from 20 years ago, which doesn't lend itself to a comfortable eating experience. Would love to have been able to get a steak, or some more commonplace Chinese cuisine, but all the options were too 'arty' without much substance. No reasonable wine list, which was disappointing. Expensive wines with no reputations, and the options in beers was extremely limited. My one real disappointment with the hotel.
The swimming pool is outside, with no shelter so the Zhuhai sun is beating down on the swimming area. No real setup for relaxing by the pool, and the pool itself is rather small. Well-maintained but it doesn't really match the photos here. Good photography I guess.
However, the hotel itself is lovely. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel package was extremely affordable and offered excellent value. It included a seafood dinner buffet, two days of breakfast, 3D2N unlimited entry to both Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship, and even a free ferry ride. This was a fantastic deal and made our stay very budget-friendly for all the experiences it included.
2. Hotel Amenities
Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel is highly family-oriented, with plenty of kids’ amenities. There’s an indoor playground, a water park, and even their own dolphin pool! Our daughter loved the tailored experience, especially with the room beautifully decorated in a dolphin theme, complete with balloons and a children’s bed. The hotel really made an effort to cater to families. The only downside was that the basic rooms do not have interconnected doors, which would be more convenient for families needing multiple rooms.
3. Chimelong Ocean Kingdom
The park was an absolute highlight of our trip. The scale of Ocean Kingdom is impressive, though it does require a lot of walking, which can be tiring. One drawback was that the shuttle bus didn’t stop close to the park entrance, making it a bit inconvenient. However, the park offers plenty of entertainment for the entire family, with amazing attractions like the Orca and Whale Shark exhibits. The size of the park means there’s always something new to see and do.
4. Overall Experience
We had an amazing time at both the hotel and the park. The combination of the family-friendly hotel amenities and the diverse attractions at Ocean Kingdom made this trip memorable for all of us. We are definitely planning a second visit!

RRick320Booked 2 king rooms for a short stay with my family. Upon arrival at the hotel I was informed that one of the rooms wasn’t ready, not a problem since we did arrive a little early.
Staff graciously asked us to wait as they’d push housekeeping to clean the other room and make sure we could have 2 rooms next to eachother.
The rooms themselves look fantastic, the decor is looking a bit worse for wear in places (lots of scuff marks and paint peeling of doors) but the views of Macau are to die for. However I do have serious concerns about the hygiene and cleanliness of the property. Upon entering into my room I smelled a strong tobacco smell, even though it was a non smoking room. The windows both in the living room and bathroom were all smudged and greasy with fingerprints and where people had been leaning against them. I thought maybe this was an oversight from housekeeping but upon checking the other room my family was staying in, I saw that the windows there were just as dirty on the inside.
Next were the dead cockroaches in the vase next to the door. These had obviously been there for a while since there was dust on them. How housekeeping could have missed them is beyond me since it’s so obvious and the (empty) vase is located right in the middle of the hallway. The absolute worst however was the wooden box that held the amenities in the bathroom. The box was absolutely disgusting, it was full of dust and had hairs in it from previous guests. When I removed a toothbrush I actually saw little bugs crawling all around the box (see red circle). In my opinion this is not befitting a hotel of this standard and price range.
Upon checking out the next day I mentioned these hygiene issues to the lady at the desk who spoke perfect English but didn’t seem to care that much. She gave a very “standard” response saying “I’ll tell housekeeping, I hope you’ll try us again next time”. Zero acknowledgment that this complaint would be taken seriously at all. Unfortunately this is not the kind of response one would expect from a hotel of this caliber.
A real shame since other than the obvious lack of proper cleaning of the rooms, the hotel itself is wonderful. The staff is very accommodating and generally speak good English. For a St Regis, the pricing is also very agreeable.

GGuest UserIt is a very nice hotel, very clean and the rooms are big enough and tidy. Our room was in the 32/f facing the city view. The lights in the buildings outside also look nice. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel, and definitely no noise from other rooms and no smell of cigarette smoke from the corridors and in our room during our entire stay.

CCurious TravellerWe loved our spacious room with two single beds- which were actually 4 ft wide! Very comfortable indeed. The room was clean and decorated in the very iconic red black and white as with the rest of the hotel. It has all the amenities for a one night stay. Check in and breakfast are nnnon level 31- which has a fabulous view. Breakfast was very reasonably priced , with plentiful selections and the taste was Good. Although it is in the city center and not far from the Macau crossing, it is not accessible by public transportation, best to call cab or Uber. It is only 6 km from the Zhuhai crossing to HK.

GGuest UserThe location is good, close to Gongbei KouAn, which is one of the entry points to Macau, and there are many restaurants, banks, markets around.
But other than that, the hotel has been quite a let-down. It says it is a 4-star but it really doesn't feel like it.
The first room we had (XX23) was so disappointing ... It felt really humid with smells of mold/mould all around: IT WAS SO HUMID when i lay down on the bed, my head felt the water that was kept into the pillow; so very uncomfortable/disgusting!
We were going to stay multiple nights, but after the first night it was impossible we would stay longer. The smell, and the feeling of humidity all the time (no matter the settings of the AC) were almost nightmarish. The pictures also show how poor the status of the room was.
We asked to change rooms, the 2nd one was MUCH BETTER.
No gym, no real restaurant in the hotel, the breakfast room feels like a canteen, the front desk service is ok (not really welcoming nor rude either)
This is not a 4-star hotel; or if it still is, then it should lose one star, or upgrade their ways to maintain a 4-star grade.

The staff were fantastic, especially Hedi, who was exceptionally attentive and kind. I loved the photoshoot gift, and the buffet had a great variety. The spa experience, with a generous discount voucher, was amazing and truly relaxing. I’m definitely looking forward to returning!

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and equipment including a small refrigerator, safe, HD TV, etc.! The service is also very warm and thoughtful, and any problems can be solved in time. There is a parking lot where you can park for free. The location is also very good. There is a road in front of the hotel, and it is very close to Gongbei Port and the high-speed rail station. It is only a few minutes' walk away.
