KKrishna Kumar KBusy streets with many food restaurants nearby.
Hotel entrance roads are in bad conditions but noticed it that all but few had similar conditions.
Located well within places of interest like Mysore Palace and Jagmohan Art Palace.
Rooms were large and spacious though.
Aircon not working at times too.
Bathrooms can be better with piping modifications to provide hot water rather than mix with pails.
Overall a good place to sleep but not much to hang around.

风风筝爱旅行Hotel location is good, the intersection is Pizza Hut. I booked a city view room, but it seems that there are not many cities. The sanitation is not bad, the water is provided, and a refrigerator that is not so frozen is also provided. I tried a Kung Pao Chicken at the hotel, as shown below, with a tax of 310 rupees. Hahaha taste really dare not compliment, so I suggest you order Chinese restaurants or choose special Chinese food. Other services are good and newspapers are also available.

It's a new hotel, so there are a few minor glitches which need to be ironed out like the water in the shower area did not drain fast enough, the safe in our room gave some trouble while locking/unlocking. Other than that, the room are large in size and well appointed. The beds are comfortable, linens are clean. Overall, the hotel is worth the money. There is a nice little terrace bar, serving fresh beer. The staff is pleasant and helpful. As we stayed for just a night, cannot comment about the food as we didn't eat at the hotel.

Stayed with my wife and kid (10-year old). The pros first: 1. Bed is good 2. Its a new establishment, so its clean. 3. Decent pricing, so slightly light on the pocket. 4. Has open parking next to its place, which is separate (NOTE: at night, lot of vehicles get parked, one in front of another, so - if by chance you have an emergency, this could be a challenge and this 'pro' can become a big 'con' for you) 5. Nice TV which has youtube as well (google TV) Cons: 1. Deluxe room, which I booked via *********** is not for 2 adults and a kid - this is very specific for 2 adults only 2. Extra bed is bad. 3. Bathroom shower knob was tough to operate (room number 502). If you are travelling as 03 members, ideally pick up suites, a family of 04 can pick up a 1 bedroom apartment, and there is an option to get even a 02 bedroom apartment. So we will try this again sometime, but not sure. There are so many hotels in Mysuru to continue trying :-)

SScenic39845322938This hotel has good and bad parts so I will list both separately. Bad: We were originally given room 110. Bathroom very tired, mould on the walls, very old fashioned water heater that takes 15 minutes to heat and would only run with one person showering before having to wait another 15 minutes for the water to heat for a second person. The smoke detector was so old and dusty we doubted it would work. We suspect it was over ten years old too and needed replacing. After raising our concerns to the manager he did offer to change our room. We swapped to a similar standard room. The bathroom in the second room was also old but fortunately did not have the mould. The bath was so flimsy that when you stood in it to shower it flexed. The check in was very slow. We had to wait 20 minutes for our room even though we arrived after the designated check in time. Other people were waiting too. No apology or reason was given. We suspect it was due to them only having one person to porter the suitcases. The service in the outdoor restaurant was slow. After seating it took an age before anyone came to take a drink order or offer a menu. The two men called Mahesh and Kumar were particularly rude in the first night. They both walked past us all evening totally ignoring us. They did not make eye contact, say hello or offer any help at all. They seemed more interested in setting up a group of tables than actually serving the guests. When the group arrived they couldn’t do enough for them, still ignoring us. Good: The grounds are beautiful, the outdoor seating in each room is nice . Food and beverage is reasonably priced. Location is very central although some noise from trains, traffic and the hotel next door. Bhindya in the restaurant was the best member of staff by far. So polite and helpful to everyone. She would make a much better restaurant manager than Kumar. The only time he showed any interest was when I asked him his name. He then became more attentive as I guess he knew I wasn’t impressed. Unfortunately too little too late. Conclusion: If you choose to come ask for a refurbished room. Staff restaurant needs better manager. Outdoor gardens and setting excellent.

HHemanathanThe hotel is located in the city, not too far from transit hubs like the Mysore Railway Station or attractions like the Mysore Palace. A short ride of about 10 to 15 minutes to be precise.
The hotel is equipped with modern amenities while their staff are well trained and were accomodating of all our needs.
The breakfast spread was particularly great while being satisfying and wholesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in their outdoor dining area.
A special shout out to their front of office staff Mr. Jagatpati and their restaurant staff members Ms. Durga and Mr. Sanjeev for their tireless efforts to make us feel comfortable and attended to.
We had a pleasant stay overall and look forward to staying here again sometime soon.

Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel is impeccably maintained and offers excellent amenities, including a pool, banquet hall, and an in-house bar and pub. The staff is exceptionally courteous and generous, even packing us breakfast for our early morning trip and assisting with route planning and other activities. Special thanks to Kiran and Jeevan, whose efforts made our stay incredibly comfortable.

In the smaller towns and cities of India, you should not expect to much of your hotels. Lok Sagar, however, exceeds those expectations. The front desk staff are efficient, courteous and absolutely correct to the last rupee. The room rate and services are good value. The rooms are well appointed with good furniture, clean and even have a comfy chair. AC worked well. The location is also very good, a short walk to the palace and a short auto ride to the railway station. For a small city like Mysore, I give it 5/5 without hesitation.
