Long story. Overall is still pleasant. Some might say itโs a new hotel, cut some slack for them. Yes and no. If you are not ready, then donโt open. I would say either understaff or staffs are not experienced or well trained. To those that were working there now, I can see that they are doing their very best. Higher management might want to see how to improve further.
1: Reached hotel at 12pm. Put my luggage at reception and went out. They already have my booking and name verified. Came back at 4pm, waited for 30 minutes and gave me the wrong room type from my booking. When I went down to the counter, told me that my room is not ready yet. At 4pm and my room is not ready yet? The fact is that, thereโs a group of walked in customers in front of me when I came back. They gave my room to them thinking that I am not back yet. And I have to wait for the other room, which was given a late checked out. And the guest had just left and room is not ready for me. So they put me up in another room to wait for my room.
2: Very generous with space. Room is spacious. Bright. Nice and clean. Which I think it has to be as it is a brand new hotel just opened in less than 2 weeks ago.
3: Stingy with water. Gave only 2 bottles of water. 250ml type. Asked for more and said at most can give 2 more only.
4: Water heater temperature not constant. One moment become very hot and one water becomes cold. And the hot that it suddenly became was very hot. Quite dangerous.
5: There is no robot to bring up your food deliveries and send anything that you request from hotel. You will have to go down to pick up your deliveries and wait for hotel staff to bring to you anything that you request for. I have to wait for 45 minutes for a pair of slippers.
6: The shower area had a design flaw that allows water to flow out when you shower and water ponded right in front the vanity counter. That was how I needed an extra pair of slippers.
7: The blinds of the windows are another wrong choice of blinds to install. You need to lower the entire day blind then you can bring up the black out blind. There are 7 panels of them in the room. My arms are sore after that. And you need to repeat the entire process to bring it up in the morning if you wish to see outside the window.
8: TV doesnโt have access to paid TV. Can only watch local channels.
9: Drop off point do not have a shelter like neighboring buildings. You get wet going in and out of the hotel entrance if it rains.
10: My room was on the top floor. Each time the lift moves, I can hear the braking lock engaging and disengaging. I can also feel the vibration from the gears that lowers and pulls the ropes. I am not a light sleeper and I can hear it.
11: Windows are double glazed. But still can hear the rain splattering while sleeping.

HHannahHotel Okura Macau is super nice. This was our first time to stay at this hotel. We had a very good experience and so glad that we chose this hotel. Our visit was for my birthday and my anniversary date. The hotel staff prepared our room with birthday balloons, butterflies, origami decorations and a lovely card. Then, later at night, a gorgeous birthday cake!. We highly recommend this hotel!
CClive GWe had a wonderful stay at the Parisian Macau! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and even offered to upgrade our room, which was a delightful surprise. The highlight of our trip was the lovely cake provided for my wife's birthdayโit was not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious!
The hotel perfectly captures the essence of Paris, with a stunning replica of the Eiffel Tower that we could admire from our room. The Parisian-inspired interior art and charming shops added to the immersive experience, making us feel as if we were strolling through the streets of Paris.ย
The services were exceptional, especially the option to leave our bags for 24 hours while we explored the city. This made our touring experience so much more leisurely and enjoyable, allowing us to soak in all the sights without the hassle of carrying our belongings.
The restaurants at the hotel were fantastic, offering a diverse range of delectable dishes that catered to all tastes. Overall, our stay was incredibly comfortable and memorable. We canโt wait to return! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely getaway!
HHaileyTI had hoped to try the 8-wheel experience, but unfortunately, it was unavailable during our check-in. While the check-in process took a little longer than expected, the staff made a real effort to accommodate my request for a higher room and informed me when it was ready. I was delighted with the celebrity room they assigned, which offered a fantastic view of the 8-wheel โ truly awesome! The room was clean and bed was very comfortable.
Travelling with a young child, I appreciated the thoughtful touch of the friendly room attendant, who sent over kids' amenities and a bathrobe. The room also provided complimentary items like drinks, cup noodles, and snacks from the mini bar, which added to the comfort of our stay.
Although our stay was just for one night, we truly enjoyed it and will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time. Iโm especially looking forward to visiting the casino on the ground floor, conveniently located right next to the lift lobby!
GGuest UserYou can forget about early checkin. Could only preregister strictly after 1230pm and had to come back for room key collection from 3pm onwards. The hotel requires 1000HKD for room deposit. We requested for twin beds but was informed there would be additional charges unlike other establishments who not only accommodated to our requests but they also did their best to make our stay memorable. Honestly we expected better service for the price paid. Wouldnโt consider staying here again when we could get better service elsewhere.
BBertonCheungThe spacious room and the spectacular view is the only highlight in my opinion. Maybe my expectation is a bit high after staying with Andaz, which provided an excellent and all-rounded experience. For example, we have made an earlier request for late check out when doing the check in, but get rejected by the check-in staff. They didn't consider your membership status nor the birthday. Please don't expect any perks or rewards. The room was not ready when we were there. So we stored our luggage at the front desk. When we came back, the stored luggage was not directly sent to your room. You needed to reclaim your stuff at the concierge. I was a bit disappointed. The location is not prime and at the far corner of the whole district. Staying here with the gold elite status and on your birthday will not bring you anything extra, even though you have made remarks earlier. Definitely, not the first pick in Macau.
PPeteGWe love this hotel because of its location, itโs an approx. 5 to10 mins walkable distance to Lisboa Hotel and Senado Square. And we have a surprise upgraded to a room that overlooks the Macao Tower. Hotel is new, the room itself is spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff are good, especially Miguel at the front desk was very helpful, his warm welcome and sincere friendliness set the tone for our stay, resolves questions regarding transportation to HZMB and other parts of Macau, which is truly commendable. There are a few restaurants, department store and a cinema, inside the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back when we return to Macau.
SSara ArdeliaWe loved our extraordinarily large room with separate living and bedroom and the lovely scent. Despite its quite minimum lighting, overall we enjoyed our experiences along with its lโoccitane amenities. Some people complain about its location being too far from most other sites with limited shuttle options, but we found it quite convenient after knowing that we managed to use Grand Lisboa Palace shuttle services. The shopping mall connected to the hotel was also a reliable option. Our room came with an afternoon tea set which was great though the service could have been better about the tea and drink included.
NNoreeeen13Celebrated my birthday yesterday and the hotel staffs were very friendly. The FO staff Stanley provided an incredible service with the room upgrade and late checkout. It has always been a pleasant and comfortable stay at Roosevelt.
WWongAshleyMy family and I had a wonderful stay! When we first arrived at the entrance of the hotel, we were assisted by the bellhop, Mark Spencer, who was very nice and helpful during our arrival and leaving the hotel. And everything else that came after did not disappoint, the room was beautiful, the breakfast was nice. Would definitely come back again! ๐๐ฝ
