We had a superb stay and this was mainly down to the warmth of the owners. Sonja met us at the train station and gave us coffee/ cake upon arrival and chatted to us. Room was big and clean and had a pleasant balcony facing south. The train line is near the pension but we enjoyed the interest that the trains brought and we didn't find them noisy in the least. Breakfast was hearty with fresh rolls and a range of other typical Austrian meats/ cheeses/ yoghurt/ coffee etc. What was most striking was the way the grandmother took an interest in our days out; she not only gave advice and drew us maps, but she also asked how it had gone on our return. Grandad and Grandma offered us schnaps and home made honey schnaps. They have a lot of return guests. A little German would be helpful but Sonja speaks good English.

Come in famiglia. Ottima e calorosa accoglienza. Stanza molto grande e tranquilla nonostante la vicina ferrovia. Ci hanno omaggiato di un aperitivo di benvenuto e delle creme per corpo veramente ottime. Colazione con pochi dolci e molto la parte salata. Una nota particolare: i trofei di caccia esposti che farebbero rabbrividire gli animalisti.
