Best Three Star Hotels in Mestre

It takes 15 mins or more to walk to the hotel from the Mestre station and it’s not so safe at night, but the staff are really nice and they provide a wonderful price for the accommodation.

The location and property exceeded our expectations for our short 2 day pre-cruise stay. The hotel is closely located to the train station with many eating options in the area. The rooms are spotless clean and while the hotel is located near the train station, the hotel is very quiet and was perfect for a short stay. We did not go into Venice from Mestre but it would be very easy to do and is much more economical than staying in Venice. For a short stay, due to limited closet and drawer space, we highly recommend.

This hotel offers affordable accommodation close to the centre of Venice. 5 minute walk to the bus and train stations - get into the centre of Venice within 15 minutes with minimal cost. Hotels rooms are comfortable, clean and with great showers. Delicious breakfast with wide range of choices. Located close to an excellent Italian restaurant and Ice-cream shop which does the best food! information about safe is misleading - no in room safe - valuables can go in the hotel reception safe but this has limited opening hours. Despite this, I would happily stay again.

Everything was clean. The double bed was just two single beds put together. The provided towels were good and plentiful. However, the amount of shower gel/shampoo was insufficient for two people. We could only find one open power outlet to put our chargers, which was an inconvenience, but maybe we missed others. Biggest complaint would be the absence of a fan (ceiling or standing) so it was quite hot in the room, the windows did not have protection from bugs so we did not open them. The location is quite good, it‘s close to the bus station, you can get to Venice in 30 minutes. The personnel was friendly and let us stay in the lobby before we could check in. Overall, for the price we cannot really complain, a fan would have made the experience a lot better though.

Just a 15 minute slow walk to the train station and just a few blocks from many bus stops More than anything else is this... I have traveled nearly the world , my 4 day's in Venice is part of a 44 day personal vacation and understand the importance of do and don't expectations when booking online. The hotel was very nice. The staff was awesome and the room was OK. The one thing that brought it from the 5 to 4 is the location. Unfortunately it’s not really conducive to any restaurants or stores. The restaurants, if you can locate them we’re approximately 1 1/2 to 2 miles away from the hotel. I did notice they had breakfast offerings. However, no dinner therefore you’re pretty much on your own.

I visited with my husband for a couple of nights. The room is basic, but more than adequate. However this was made up for by the lovely staff - nothing was too much trouble, even when our plane was diverted and we arrived at 3am, some 6 hours late! We had an excellent breakfast in the garden which was a delight, especially the fragrance of the jasmine growing there. The icing on the cake was the number 2 bus outside the door takes you straight into Venice! Don’t just base yourself there for Venice, go to Mestre, lovely & laid back - perfetto!

Pros: 1. Excellent location - close to bus/tram stop to Venice, 3 minutes walk (tickets can be bought at the hotel reception). Also around a lot of cafes, convenient. 2. The rooms are pleasant, there is a refrigerator, air conditioning 3. The hotel is small, it was quiet Cons are not critical, but still: 1. There are no screens on the windows, we were bitten by mosquitoes 2. The air conditioner is very old and noisy, even at minimum power. But we slept with him, we got very tired during the day in Venice) 3. The shower door does not close completely 4. We missed a kettle in the room
