Just home after a fab 10 days at this hotel. Everything was amazing and, although the hotel was bigger than our last visit to Sharm el Sheikh last year, it was still possible to have that “personal touch”. The grounds are absolutely immaculate with lots of lovely decorations on the bushes etc. The whole place is absolutely spotlessly clean too. I am quite a fussy eater however always found something due to the huge variety of food available. The beach restaurant was a favourite at lunchtime due to the fresh pizzas and the Waves restaurant bar was a hit with us too. This is always quiet for some reason ( possibly because it’s not a buffet? ) and offers foods such as burger, chicken shawarma, fish and chips etc - all cooked fresh to order and very tasty. We don’t bother with evening entertainment so cannot comment on this however, the entertainment team work incredibly hard during the day around the main pool area. It can feel a bit loud at times but this is something that didn’t bother us at all and there is no pressure to take part. Also during the day around the main pool area, you can be asked quite a lot about doing boat trips, spa visits etc however, again, there is no pressure if you say no. The only negative I can say about this hotel is that it is quite out the way and there are no shops etc nearby so you cannot just go for a wander outside the hotel grounds. Again, this is something that didn’t bother us but maybe just to keep it in mind if you like getting out and about. Special mentions to the following staff - Mahmoud, the waiter in the lobby bar who was very attentive each evening and would always remember our drinks. Alaa who kept everyone supplied with drinks from the pool bar each day. This guy never stops and can only imagine how many steps he does every day! He goes back and forward constantly making sure that everyone has a drink and nothing was too much trouble - thanks for looking after us so well during our stay! Lastly, Ahmed the lifeguard who kindly helped secure our pool towels to our lounger every morning - making sure our towels never blew away in the breeze! Lastly, the guy who did our room every day but unfortunately we never found out his name. Hoping the hotel can pass on our thanks knowing we were in room 4147. He kept our room spotless and the lovely “towel art” that we came back to each day made us smile. Overall we really enjoyed this hotel and would absolutely return given the chance.
