Spa Hotels in San Diego

A pretty large resort, but with personal attention by the staff. Ground were well appointed. The rooms were very well appointed, beds comfortable, people serving us were pleasant. Would never hesitate to recommend the place. Can't wait to go back. My only complaints as follows - the one bartender at the Tequila Bar definitely wasn't into serving people with a smile. I asked him what beer he had available and he said ”some domestics and some imports”, turned and walked away. That was a turnoff. The other people who served us over the 3 nights were all fine, but not him. Also, we were on the 15th floor, yet surprisingly we could hear conversations down in the pool area, and especially the music playing. I found that as being a little odd. That is the only reason for dropping it down from 5 stars.

I was here for a destination wedding. From arrival to departure, the experience was great. The grounds are so beautiful. Every meal I had on property was wonderful. Thank you for providing golf cart service to get around. Most everything was very walkable, but having those available was a nice touch. Loved being able to have a bonfire on the beach! Just a great overall experience.

The hotel is located in the city center, like an old-fashioned standard hotel. The lobby is very beautiful and may be in disrepair. The slight downside is that the rooms are not newly renovated, but the facilities are complete. There are many attractions and restaurants nearby.

The hotel's overall value for money is pretty good. The location is great. It's just a few steps away from Seaport Village and the USS Midway. The rooms are comfortable and the toiletries in the bathroom are all Balmain. However, the quality is obviously a little bit behind the Grand Hyatt brand. Especially the service is just average. Hyatt’s level still needs to be improved

It used to be a Comfort Inn that we have always stayed at for over 10 years but now a Best Western. Very nice upgrades, great and friendly staff, love the location, A good place to stay. Close to downtown, Old Town, Zoo, and 5 minutes to the beach and shopping and golf just 5 minutes away also.

This hotel has a noble feel! The friends who went there fell in love, saying they liked it more than Ritz-Carlton in Santa Barbara. I heard that there are many swimming pools, but we only saw one. The hotel grounds are too big, take a walk and take a look. If you are a golfer, you will love the environment more! Its daily activities are also very rich. We participated in a qigong meditation at 9:00 in the morning, and it felt very good. There are free yoga classes and the like. Not boring There are some restaurants to eat and drink ten minutes drive from the hotel. The environment is also super nice in that area, and it feels like a rich area. A hotel worth visiting. I will visit again!

Unfortunately, the guests above me were up all night. I had a 7 a.m. flight, and it looked like there was a bachelorette party or wedding reception at the hotel. Some of those attendees were in the room above me. They were up until 4 in the morning making noise. I really like the hotel and location, I travel through San Diego frequently, and the hotel experience there has been great. Guess I picked the wrong night.

We truly enjoyed our stay. We can’t wait to go back! The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The beach couldn’t be any closer and the privacy here was just amazing.

Location, location, location! I thought that because l used a booking site that our room would be sub-par. I couldn't be further from the truth, it came with the stadium and bay view, sure wish a game was on! Checking in and out was seamless. They provided the fridge and microwave as complimentary! The valet parking workers were the friendliest!

The hotel location is particularly good, in the city center, shopping and eating are very convenient, but there is a bit bad, we were in the room, the waiter came knocking on the door twice, once to send ice, the other did not know what to do, anyway I answered no Yes, the waiter did n’t come in, but when I paid for it, I charged another 20 dollars, plus tax 22.5 dollars, said it was a visit fee.
