Drift Inn has two components: regular rooms and a hostel. Our group was divided into two different rooms in the hotel part resulting in two very different experiences. The room on the second floor was lovely and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay; It was an excellent experience. However, although the room on the first floor was comfortable, it was also dark and a bit claustrophobic ( no window). The air in that room wasn't working and all the other rooms were booked so the hotel let us stay in the hostel until it was fixed the next day. If you don't get to the hostel early to get a bunk by the air conditioner it gets pretty toasty in there. To be fair, the weather while we were in Belize was extremely hot and not normal for that time of year, so take our miserable experience with a grain of salt. We all loved the common areas, the very relaxing vibe, and the staff, who were quite responsive. Spent a lot of time in the hammocks!
