Best Hotels in Shangri-La

The highlight of my trip to Yunnan with my children during the summer vacation is the commercialization of various scenic spots in Yunnan, which really makes people feel unsatisfactory. When we come to Wuji, return to nature itself, and walk into the simplest relationship between people, it seems that all the unsatisfactory things can be pressed. Next, I have a few words: ⭐️The room facilities are relatively simple, but you will find that they are very attentive and relatively clean and comfortable. However, I feel a bit dim, which can be improved. ⭐️The food is very home-style, the beef short rib hotpot is delicious, and the stir-fried dishes are also home-style. ⭐️The store’s activities include picking mushrooms, feeding sheep, horseback riding, stargazing, and watching movies. It’s fully arranged for a two-day stay👍🏼 ⭐️⭐️The most important thing is that the scenery is too beautiful to describe, the service staff are like friends, and the children are reluctant to leave~ I hope I can come again if I have the chance~

Nice location in the old city, near Gui Shan. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, changes every day. Free sweet soup in the evening was a nice touch. The room was on two storeys which was cool, beds upstairs and TV/shower downstairs, quite convenient (but no wardrobe). Baidu map took us to the wrong location so be careful, but after a call to Ctrip the owner came to pick us up (also willing to take us to the main gate when we left). If you have suitcases best to call them for a pick up as the streets in the old city are bumpy. Nice terrace on the second floor, spent a lot of time sitting there looking out over Gui Shan and the city (some photos below). Overall a very nice experience.

We arrived in Shangri-la late at night. The owner of the hotel told us to go to a certain location so they could go pick us up, we were not charged for this service. They were very kind to us, especially to me since I had a hard time adjusting to the altitude and they told us what to do to alleviate my altitude sickness issues. The rooms are very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The atmosphere of the place gives you a feeling you’re immersed in the local culture. The view from the top rooms are breathtaking, you can have an overview of the town and the main temple. Just beware that in order to have this view, you need to climb a lot of stairs, and at this altitude, climbing stairs can be a daunting challenge, but totally worthwhile. I highly recommend this place.

This hotel is perfect for those seeking to take a break from the usual crowds. It's a big property in a quaint village, surrounded by beautiful nature. Our room was more like a two storey villa, with the living quarter upstairs and dressings room, washrooms downstairs, made in old ******* style but with all the modern amenities tastefully integrated into the settings. I specifically loved the stream Infront of the hotel, taking a walk by it was amazing. A special shout-out to Murray and Dolma for making our stay special. Would love to come back here to experience another season!

Hygiene: Hygiene is very good, furniture and bedding are spotless Environment: The B&B is located in a village near Songzanlin Temple. You can walk to the gate of Songzanlin Temple in 10 minutes. The boss also gives you tickets. Facilities: The floor heating in the room burns a little slowly, but after it is heated, the room temperature is very comfortable, and it is not cold when sleeping at night. The hot water is particularly powerful! Not only does one get hot faster, but he also sleeps better! There is also a hot air fan in the bathroom, so it won't be cold when you take a shower. Service: The boss and his family are very kind and responsive, and the ******* breakfast is delicious!

The best hotel in this trip, the ranch hotel has 5 rooms, all of which are built by the boss. The hotel is located in the Dara Ranch, hidden in the pastoral, the surrounding environment is quiet and enjoy the beauty of the pastoral. The breakfast is more exquisite, the dinner is a classic yak beef hot pot, the taste is very 👍🏻, the beef yak is soft and delicious, and the amount is enough! The hotel owner and friends are hospitable, friendly, and recommend delicious and fun places. The boss recommended a 2-kilometer ranch horse riding, the scenery is great, and the children are also very happy. The hotel has four cute big dogs, and the children like it very much. The dogs are very sensible, play with the guests outside the room, never step into the room one step 👍🏻 In short, 5⭐ recommended

The Location is very nice, only a short walk away from the lively and lovely old town center of Shangri-La. The interior design of the hotel is very nice, although it reminded me of wooden Chalets in Switzerland, it immediately made a warm, healthy and clean impression on us. The rooms are spacious, very well maintained and clean. But what was most impressive was the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees. The hotel is also the loving home to a sweet red and white cat named Chara.

What an amazing place… the couple runs this place so wonderfully. The husband helps us to go to wonderful places. He drove us to see beautiful place and one remote place called bottomless lake . He brought his little daughter and there cute dog . We loved every minute of our stay . Important to mention that many scenic places in Shangri La has dangerous roads but the hotel owner drive us very careful and was very sensitive to our need’s. I really recommended this hotel to foreigners even though we didn’t speed Chinese and they didn’t speak English we had everything we needed. The owner couple are wonderful people and they keep a very clean modern home stay ! Highly recommended for a fantastic home stay and experience! My son was sad to say goodbye

This guesthouse is absolutely wonderful. Napa Lake is a particularly pleasant and slow-paced place. Every day at this guesthouse, you can breathe fresh air and leisurely lie on the balcony sofa enjoying the scenery. The guesthouse environment is excellent, featuring a tea room, great amenities, and high cleanliness. However, it's worth noting that there might be insects since it's close to nature. The housekeepers are very warm and friendly. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this stay.

Although the hotel is clean and the lady at the front desk is very nice, the hygiene is not up to standard, there is nothing to eat for breakfast, and I don't like the decoration style. The most important thing is that there is no door separating the bathroom from the outside.
