I recently stayed at iHotel Uptown BGC for 2 days and 1 night during a business trip, and it was a pleasant experience. Below are some highlights from my stay:
1. Check-In and Reception: The service was impeccable from the moment I arrived. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The receptionists were friendly, welcoming, and attentive to detail. They kindly requested our valid IDs for booking validation and provided a brief overview of the hotel’s policies.
2. Room Quality: I booked a twin-bedroom room located on the Lower Ground floor (L3). The room was modern, spacious, and immaculately clean, although it lacked a window. The bed was comfortable—neither too hard nor too soft—with two pillows per bed. The room also featured a flat-screen television.
3. Amenities: While the hotel offers good facilities, there are a few areas for improvement:
- Parking: The parking lot is limited, with space for only about 10 cars, depending on their size.
- Breakfast and Dining: There is no free breakfast or hotel cafe, which would have been a convenient addition for guests.
- Complimentary Bottled Water: It would be great if bottled water were provided for guests without additional charges.
4. Location: The hotel’s location is excellent for exploring the city. It’s just meters away from Bonifacio Global City, within walking distance to major attractions, shopping districts, and public transportation. Despite its central location, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
5. Service: Every staff member I encountered was professional and helpful, providing a positive experience throughout my stay.
Conclusion: Overall, my stay at iHotel Uptown BGC was enjoyable. The hotel offers great service, a comfortable room, and a convenient location. While some amenities could be improved, I would still recommend it for business travelers.
