The holiday inn express at Washington D.C. is close to the Washington Convention Center, clean and convenient.

This hotel was great! It has a convenient location within walking distance to the metro and an in-room microwave. I will definitely book again when I visit DC.

Great hotel for a Quick stop everything you need is close by, big rooms and service is good

Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast and there was plenty of food to choose. The room was clean but a little small. Everything was good except the one and only washing machine was broken during our stay.

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The beds are very high though for the vertically challenged. The shower was big and had good water pressure. The location was a little farther  from the Mall, about a mile. The Uber cost around $12 but the prices vary a lot. We felt safe in the area. The breakfast was ok. When there was omelette it was ok, when scrambled they were terrible. Typical continental food, yogurt, cereal, bacon, potatoes, bagel, toast, muffins, oatmeal. The thing that bothered me was walking past the same trash on the floor for 2 days right in front of elevator. I didn’t pick it up because I wanted to see how long it would be in the same place. Overall I’d stay here again.

The hotel is centrally located to transportation, cafes, and tourist attractions. It is a 5 min walk from the convention center. There's a bus stop right next to the hotel and a metro station within a 10-15 min walk. Staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was provided but was pretty average, it was only good on one out of the 4 days although the staff setting up breakfast was very hospitable and helpful. Housekeeping could've been better, they missed tending to our room on one of the days. Overall, the experience was very good and I'd recommend it to anyone traveling on a budget and looking for a centrally located hotel.

A deposit is required to enter the hotel, but cash cannot be given. There is a problem with the room equipment. I need to find a noisy room in the driveway. There is a problem with the refrigerator. It makes strange noises all day long. Cleaning is not reliable. I asked the cleaning staff to clean and ignore them. I booked a room for three nights. The front desk staff can only help you book a room for two nights. You can't get in by swiping your card after two days. You have to look at the front desk staff's face. You will be punished for spending money to book a room. Please be careful.

I enjoyed my stay so much, I loved my room with a king bed just for myself. I love that Holiday inn has a decaf in every other chains as well. Lovely. And I fell in love with DC too!

Well located. Friendly staff. I recommend. breakfast was not available during pour stay which was the only downside, we paid the Trip.com fee with breakfast and not having it was a bit disappointing. We had to go outside and pay our own.

Overall, it was good. Clean and new facilities, convenient place and decent prices. But I want to point out some points. Hot water didn’t come out form the shower at first night. It was fixed by the second day, but it was very frustrated. Also, 2 of the 3 elevators were broken all week and it seems that they don’t try to fix them. It took long time to go up and down. Plus, although I booked for my stay with breakfast, it wasn’t served due to the broken kitchen. It was a complimentary breakfast, but I was disappointed and I needed to go to Safeway to get my breakfast.

The room is not big. The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer, which is very convenient. The TV is connected to the Internet and you can watch movies. The socket can be charged directly without a converter. The bathroom is equipped with Dove toiletries. As usual, you need to bring your own toothbrush, comb and slippers. The hotel does not provide mineral water. We bought them at the hotel's internal store on the side of the hotel front desk, and also bought potato chips, each for $5. The location is great, close to the National Gallery, a 25-minute walk. I also met a cute little squirrel on the way. There is a church nearby and it is also close to Chinatown. We didn't go to Chinatown, but we saw it on the way. The front desk service is quite satisfactory. There was a problem when checking in and submitting the deposit. I swiped my credit card to submit the check-in deposit. The card machine and my text message both indicated that it was successful, but the hotel front desk feedback was unsuccessful. It is estimated that their system is a bit slow. I swiped 4 times and the last time said it was OK. I contacted the hotel through Ctrip email, and I will return the feedback. Thank you Ctrip for its quick response and intervention. I also contacted my credit card bank at the time. The breakfast is very simple. The staff who prepared breakfast was an uncle who enthusiastically asked every guest if they had any opinions on breakfast. Overall, it is recommended to stay.
