Trip to Legazpi, Philippines 🇵🇭

It was a trip to Legazpi, Philippines. When we visited Legazpi recently and our first stop was Cagsawa Ruins Park. A must-see for its iconic view of the majestic Mayon Volcano 🌋The best time to visit is early morning, around ⏰ 6:00–8:00 AM, when the skies ⛅️ are clear, and Mayon’s perfect cone is fully visible. We captured stunning photos of the ruins with the volcano as a backdrop 📸 Walking around, we felt the history of the site, which was once a church destroyed by a volcanic eruption. Truly, this is a photographer’s paradise! 📍Cagsawa Ruins Park, Daraga, Albay, Philippines We also explored Lignon Hill Nature Park, a perfect spot for panoramic views of Legazpi City and the Mayon Volcano. The late afternoon ⏰ 4:00–5:00 PM was ideal for photography as the golden hour bathed the scenery in warm, beautiful light 🌅 We also tried the zip line here, which added an adventurous touch to our visit. Afterward, we headed to the Mayon Skyline View Deck for another breathtaking angle of the volcano. The serenity of the place and the chance to take unobstructed shots made it worth the trip. 📍Lignon Hill Nature Park, Bogtong, Legazpi City, Albay, Philippines We also highly recommend visiting Sumlang Lake, where we took postcard-worthy photos of Mayon reflected in the calm waters. Renting a bamboo raft added a unique touch to our pictures. We arrived in the morning to avoid crowds and capture the serene morning light. Afterward, we ventured to Quitinday Green Hills, often compared to Bohol’s Chocolate Hills. We recommend going around ⏰ 8:00–9:00 AM when the light is soft, highlighting the intricate baroque architecture. Later in the afternoon, we strolled along Legazpi Boulevard, where the coastal views and vibrant sunsets were unforgettable.
