Compared to the main urban area of Chongqing, I love the small town with its lively atmosphere even more! I really like this city around Chongqing. I have been to Changshou several times, and every time I go, I feel so relaxed and comfortable. You can have a great time in this small city over a weekend. Here is a 2-day itinerary: Day 1: Arrive in Changshou → Visit Sandao Guai Old Street → Take the Changshou Cable Car → Visit Putuo Ancient Town Day 2: Go to Linfeng Town to pick pomelos → Visit Changshou Lake → Return to Chongqing Transportation: It only takes half an hour by high-speed rail, and if you drive, it only takes about an hour. Travel tips: Sandao Guai Old Street: This is a lively old street! It is built on a mountain, and there are not many people, so it is easy to take beautiful photos. The whole street is winding and has a strong cultural atmosphere. When you are tired of walking, you can sit down and drink tea and bask in the sun. It is so comfortable. Chongqing Changshou Cable Car: This must be a childhood memory for every Changshou person. It started in 1963 and was repaired in the past two years. It is now open, and you can ride it for free. There is a ride every 10 minutes, and you can see the scenery on the other side of the river when the weather is good. Putuo Ancient Town: Putuo Ancient Town has a bit of Jiangnan charm. The wide stone road is not tiring to walk on, and there are beautiful scenes of small bridges and flowing water. When night falls, the atmosphere is even better.
