||Guangxi's version of the Grand Tang Mall. Taiping Ancient City in Chongzuo has a long history. During the reign of Emperor Taizong of Song (976–984), the Northern Song Dynasty set up the Zuojiangdao Taiping Fort, which was located in the current Huxing Community, Taiping Street, Jiangzhou District, Chongzuo City. The name "Taiping" comes from this fort. Later, the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties set up Taiping Road and Taiping Prefecture, which have a history of more than 1,000 years. The ancient city is surrounded by the Zuojiang River on three sides, occupying unique natural resources. It relies on the beautiful mountains and rivers, and the beautiful scenery is naturally formed. In ancient times, it was said that "the beautiful water is folded four times, surrounding it on three sides, and its shape is like a pot, so it is called Hucheng."
