Uluwatu Kecak Dance: Monkeys Randomly Interact with You

Local guides remind us to be cautious of monkeys at Uluwatu Temple (Pura Luhur Ulu Watu), advising us to watch out for sunglasses, wallets, and phones. Indeed, there are many monkeys, but nothing serious happened. Unexpectedly, during the Kecak dance performance, monkey performers began to interact randomly. During the white monkey's appearance, a monkey jumped over the crowd and interacted with the audience in the front row, making funny gestures and taking selfies with everyone. Then it came towards me, and I quickly made way for it. The monkey nodded at me, rested beside my seat for a moment, and then swiftly returned to the stage. The atmosphere was fantastic. In the circular theater, you can watch the traditional Kecak dance without musical accompaniment, consisting of four segments. When you buy a ticket, you receive an information sheet. During the fire segment, a girl wrapped in a yellow scarf, enthusiastically danced and interacted with the performers, making everyone very happy.
