Istanbul Hotel Recommendations

We took a trip to Istanbul during the holidays and stayed at the Angel's Home Hotel in Sultanahmet. The hotel is located at Amiral Tafdil Sk. No: 26, which is very convenient. The Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are just a few minutes' walk away, which is very convenient. The hotel is in a great location, with many restaurants and attractions nearby, all within walking distance. Although the hotel is in the center of the old town, it is very quiet. The decor is very local, with a strong Turkish style. The front desk staff were warm and friendly and gave us a lot of useful travel advice. The room layout is reasonable, we stayed in a triple room, which was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is well-equipped, and although there is no elevator in the historic district, it does not affect the overall experience. The room was very clean, the shower was great, with a pressurized shower head and a handheld shower, and the shower was very comfortable. The room offers free tea and coffee, and the Wi-Fi signal is strong. Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant, with a variety of options and a beautiful view of the Sea of Marmara. It really feels like being in a movie! 🍳🥐 There are many good restaurants around the hotel, such as Vamos Restaurant, Skyline Soiree Rooftop Restaurant, and Mivan Restaurant & Cafe. There are plenty of options for dinner. You can also walk to the Grand Bazaar and the Turkish Bath, so you can plan a full day and not be bored. ✨ Of course, there are some minor drawbacks, such as the bathroom, which some guests have reported is sometimes not very clean, and the soap looks like it has been used for a long time. So when you check in, you may need to pay attention to these little details. Otherwise, there is no elevator, which may be inconvenient for those with limited mobility or large luggage. Overall, Angel's Home Hotel was a great stay. Great location, friendly service, comfortable rooms, and a beautiful view from the rooftop restaurant, all at a great price.
