In the early years of the Republic of China, a villager named Guan Guonuan returned to his hometown from Canada and led his fellow villagers to Canada to make a living. After years of hard work, they saved enough money to hire a local designer to draw up blueprints for a house, which they then built in their hometown. Between 1923 and 1926, they built 13 houses near Xia Village, which they named Yaohuafang. Because all the houses in the village were built by overseas Chinese in Canada, it is known as "Canada Village". The village has 13 households, all with the surname Guan. - Architectural features: Canada Village has five houses: Junlu, Anlu, Yaodongjulu, Chunlu, and Yulu, and four buildings: Huade Building, Guohao Building, Guogen Building, and Chunru Building. The watchtowers, mansions, and clubs in the village were mostly built in the 1920s and 1930s, and the architectural style is a blend of Chinese and Western styles, incorporating traditional Chinese gray sculpture, Roman columns, round arches, flower carvings, and other architectural arts, full of the charm of overseas Chinese towns. - Visiting experience: The village is not big, just three rows of buildings, surrounded by rice fields, with a very good environment and a very distinctive overseas Chinese town!
