Day 1 On the first day of my arrival in Kyoto, I visited the National Kyoto International Conference Center located in the Kitayama area. This building is renowned for its unique modernist design, blending seamlessly with the surrounding natural scenery. Inside the center, the spacious and bright space with its smooth lines was refreshing. I attended a cultural exchange exhibition showcasing artworks from around the world, including paintings, sculptures, and visual images, which deeply conveyed the collision and fusion of different cultures. In the afternoon, I strolled along the nearby Lake Biwa Canal, admiring the reflection of autumn leaves on the water, feeling the harmonious coexistence of nature and modern civilization. Day 2 On the second day, I chose to explore the Kitayama Cultural District around the National Kyoto International Conference Center more deeply. In the morning, I attended a small concert where musicians performed several pieces with regional characteristics, resonating with the architectural space of the center. Then, I visited the nearby Kyoto Botanical Garden, wandering through the quiet flower paths and admiring various seasonal flowers. In the afternoon, I returned to the conference center and enjoyed a cup of Japanese matcha coffee at the café in the lobby, quietly appreciating the garden view outside the window, marking a perfect end to the trip. The two-day itinerary was filled with cultural and artistic atmosphere.
