Nice.

Nice is located in southern France, with a northeast-southwest coastline and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. Like many European cities, Nice is really small, only 6 km from the airport to the city center, and you can walk to all the attractions in the city. I stayed near the train station, and it took me half an hour to walk to each attraction. To get from the train station to Castle Hill, you have to go through the Old Town. First, you pass by the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Nice, the largest modern religious building in Nice, a rectangular colonnade church with a gorgeous exterior, a white building on the main street. The exterior is very similar to Notre-Dame de Paris, with the square twin towers being its most prominent feature. Further ahead is Place Masséna, surrounded by department stores, banks, etc. The square is home to the art installation "Conversation à Nice," with seven sculptures representing the seven continents. The Old Town of Nice has preserved a variety of ancient buildings from the 18th century onwards, such as Baroque churches and Italian-style buildings. Walk into the maze-like Old Town and stroll through the winding, crisscrossing alleys, admiring the colorful and diverse buildings. Passing through the Cours Saleya market, you will be dazzled by the colorful fruits, candies, and flowers. Walk through the market to the foot of Castle Hill, and climb up step by step to see the entire Baie des Anges. Wow! The view of Baie des Anges from the hill is amazing, and it is named after its resemblance to angel wings. The water in the bay is of varying depths, and it is very beautiful, with round pebbles all over the beach. Walk back along Baie des Anges, and you will reach the Promenade des Anglais. It was originally built by the British and runs along Baie des Anges from Castle Hill all the way to Nice Airport. Walk in the opposite direction from Castle Hill, and you will reach Cap de Nice.
