Utah Lake State Park, Salt Lake City Attraction

Utah Lake in Salt Lake City is a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. I saw people picnicking and boating on the beach all day long. The water quality is a bit poor, so it's not recommended to swim. There are many lake insects in the summer evenings and occasionally in the mornings, which can sometimes be unbearable. They mainly appear during warm weather, so keep that in mind. This is a state park, so an entrance fee is required. I often run to the lakeside and find the visit very enjoyable!
