Exquisite Architecture of Tianhou Temple

Quanzhou Tianhou Temple is considered the largest and most prestigious temple for worshiping Mazu in China and abroad. The main buildings are distributed along the north-south central axis, including the mountain gate, theater stage, east and west towers, main hall, east and west corridors, sleeping hall, east and west pavilions, four pavilions, two vegetarian halls, and dressing building. The existing building complex faces south, with a courtyard layout symmetrical along the central axis, preserving Song Dynasty components and Ming and Qing Dynasty wooden structures.
