Sharjah, a must-visit museum on a trip to Dubai

Sharjah is the most easily overlooked place when traveling to Dubai. In fact, there are many great museums there. This time I recommend the Museum of Islamic Civilization. The museum was founded in 1996 and relocated to the Majarrah Waterfront in 2008. The exhibition rooms are divided into two floors, with more than 5,000 cultural relics and exhibits, which are displayed in different exhibition rooms according to different categories. This charming museum is located in the historic center of Sharjah, on the Majarrah Waterfront, which was once a traditional Middle Eastern shopping market. It is the first Islamic cultural museum in the UAE, located in the western part of Sharjah. The exhibition rooms are divided into two floors, and more than 5,000 exquisite artworks from Islamic countries give visitors a systematic understanding of the Islamic world. The main content of the exhibition hall on the first floor is the introduction of the holy places of Islam, some manuscripts of the Quran, ancient Arab science and technology, etc. The second floor is a general introduction to Arab history according to the timeline, from arts and crafts, daily life, trade, military, etc. ❗The popular starry sky ceiling is on the dome on the third floor, which is really beautiful and photogenic!
