Shengzhou Peach-Shaped Plum

Shengzhou Peach-Shaped Plum, a specialty of Shengzhou City, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, is a national agricultural product geographical indication. The Shengzhou Peach-Shaped Plum originated from the grafting of the Red Heart Plum by fruit farmers. Its heart-shaped appearance resembles a peach, and it grows in Shengzhou, hence the name "Shengzhou Peach-Shaped Plum"; it features a small stone, semi-freestone, crisp and refreshing flesh, and few fibers. On April 30, 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China approved the implementation of geographical indication registration protection for the 'Shengzhou Peach-Shaped Plum'.
