Gong Dian Hotpot - Tianmu Branch

The meat at Gong Dian is top-notch. The quality of the imported beef and lamb has always been good, especially the boneless short ribs from the USA, which are my favorite. When cooked to medium-rare, the pink slices of meat are incredibly tempting, tender yet slightly chewy, and you can really taste the beef itself. American beef just suits my taste. The marbled Matsusaka pork is also highly recommended. The large slices of Matsusaka pork have a slightly crunchy texture when blanched, with no porky smell, and you can taste the freshness of the pork. Unlike the usual thin and fragile pork skin, the slightly thicker cut of Matsusaka pork is firm, crunchy, and delicious, making it my favorite this time.
