Suzhou No. 106 Garden

Suzhou No. 106 Garden: Baojian Hall Baojian Hall was built in the Song Dynasty and was originally called Meng Garden. It was renamed Baojian Hall in the early Ming Dynasty. Meng Garden was originally the former residence of Ye Mengde, a left minister and writer of the Southern Song Dynasty. The descendants of the Ye family still live here today. Meng Garden is small and exquisite, with a pond in the center. Pavilions, rockeries, flowers, trees, and zigzag bridges are arranged around the pond. The garden is bright and open, and is a classic example of a small classical garden.
