Journey in Search of Time Fossils

Day 1: Time Adventure at Zuozhen Fossil Park Early in the morning, I took a bus to the Zuozhen Fossil Park in Tainan. This tranquil land holds memories of life from millions of years ago. Upon entering the park, a giant dinosaur model greeted me, as if leading me back to prehistoric times. The park showcases a rich collection of fossil specimens, from ancient shellfish to large mammals, narrating the evolutionary history of the Earth. I was particularly fascinated by the exhibition of the 'Gigantopithecus Teeth,' one of Zuozhen's prides. In the afternoon, I participated in a fossil excavation experience, patiently searching for fragments of history in the fine sand, enjoying the fun of archaeology. At dusk, I strolled along the park's trails, watching the sunset paint the land red, and felt all the day's fatigue healed in this tranquility. Day 2: Delving into the Culture and Nature of Zuozhen The next morning, I continued to explore the local customs of Zuozhen. I visited the Zuozhen Tianhou Temple to feel the local religious culture. Then, I went to the Erliao Viewing Platform, a famous sea of clouds spot in Tainan. Although I didn't encounter the sea of clouds, the view of the layered mountains from the high ground was still refreshing. In the afternoon, I visited the Lukang Jiang Family Settlement, where I admired the well-preserved traditional Minnan architecture and felt the simple atmosphere of the small town. Over these two days, Zuozhen not only revealed the secrets of fossils to me but also allowed me to savor the beauty of the blend of ancient and modern times.
