I was lucky to find a hidden gem of a hotel in Xiangyang!

InterContinental Xiangyang is in a great location, with easy access to popular attractions such as Gulongzhong and Guangde Temple. It takes less than half an hour to get to Gulongzhong, where Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion. It has a history of over 1,800 years and is a must-see when visiting Xiangyang! I was amazed as soon as I entered the hotel. The collision of ancient style and modern garden architecture creates a wonderful spark, and the whole space presents a flowing beauty. The architectural space is designed with mountains and water, and the modern courtyard is presented with pavilions, towers, and winding paths, presenting a natural landscape in the middle of the bustling city. The hotel has a total of 289 deluxe rooms and suites, each with a different view. The suites are equipped with Dyson hair dryers, JBL speakers, Slumberland mattresses, BYREDO toiletries, and Nespresso coffee machines, all of which are full of high-end feeling. The view outside the window is so beautiful that you can get drunk, and you can also take a comfortable bubble bath in the bathtub in the room, which is a style that no one can refuse! The hotel pays great attention to food, and every dish is full of color, aroma, and taste. On the first morning, I had a buffet breakfast at the Source Coffee, and the local authentic Xiangyang beef noodles were delicious. You must try them when you go there! Special mention to the hotel's executive lounge! The afternoon tea is so good. I've never had such a low-sugar matcha black sesame mousse that suits my taste, and the roast beef cheese sandwich is so delicious that I cried. Who can understand the happiness of eating hot and delicious afternoon tea as soon as I return to the hotel after a long day outside!
