Shaanxi History Museum's Qin and Han Dynasties Hall takes you back to the Qin and Han Dynasties.

It is the first museum in China to focus on the origins, development, and contributions of Qin and Han civilization. Designed by the famous architect Zhang Jinqiu, the museum adopts the high platform architectural style popular in the Qin and Han Dynasties. The seven buildings in the main hall are arranged like the Big Dipper, reflecting the Qin Dynasty's "heaven and earth" concept. The exhibitions are wonderful. The basic exhibition "The World is One: Qin and Han Civilization" systematically reviews the achievements and contributions of Qin and Han civilization from six aspects: politics, economy, and thought. The museum displays a large ancient Han Dynasty ship, the earliest wooden ship discovered in China; the vivid Terracotta Warriors, which show the military power of the Qin Dynasty; the majestic and towering Gilt Bronze Tiger Tally, which reflects the military system of the time; and the Han Dynasty Gilt Bronze Silkworm, a witness to the exchange of civilizations, which tells the glory of the Silk Road.
