📍 Location: Guilin, Guangxi • Yangshuo • Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area ✨ Experience: Wake up to the sound of birds and morning light, see the distant mountains and trees and the pointed tents downstairs bathed in sunlight, sleep on the recliner at the BS Bar, have a coffee and chat with friends, stay in the quiet diamond-shaped house on the mountainside farthest from the exit and read a book... I spent almost two days looking for a hotel in Yangshuo, and almost all the B&Bs here have been converted into large floor-to-ceiling windows with mountain or river views, and I got a little tired of looking at them for a long time. When I saw the Shanshui Shengmei Hotel, my eyes lit up. It was so different from the other B&Bs that only had one or a few houses. The large space is surrounded by mountains, the winding pool flows through the large lawn in front of the guest room area, and the white pointed tents further highlight its difference from the other B&Bs here. Because I was worried that the tent was not soundproof, I chose the diamond-shaped loft wooden house on the mountainside, which is the farthest from the exit but closest to the back mountain, and I felt like I had realized my long-cherished dream of living in a tree house. January is the off-season in Yangshuo, and my friend and I had the hotel to ourselves! Living away from the crowd, except for being a little scared at night, everything else was perfect. Every morning I woke up to the sound of birds in the back mountain, opened the curtains to the warm winter sun, stood on the second floor of the loft, and could see the whole hotel, overlooking everything was great! At night, I could see the stars blinking in the sky. Breakfast is available in Chinese and Western styles, with two options for each. I like Chinese food, so I ate Chinese food for the two days I stayed here, and it was delicious and there were many kinds. I plan to stay here again next time!
