The hidden gems around Hohhot

I must share the incredibly beautiful Hongshiya Tourist Area around Hohhot. It's truly stunning and definitely worth a visit! 😍 🚗【Transportation】 To have more freedom, we chose to rent a car and drive ourselves. Renting a car seems to cost around 300 per day. Navigate to Hongshiya National Ecological Park. After entering the mountains, there might be no signal, but don't worry. There are three forks in the road; take the right at the first and second forks, and the left at the third fork. There are road signs to guide you, so you won't get lost. There is a section without signal, but there are cars all along the way, just follow the crowd. The scenic area has only one-way roads, so once you enter, you can't turn back. You can stop and take photos along the way; the scenery is stunning and very photogenic! The houses in the scenic area belong to the herdsmen. Make sure to use the restroom before entering the scenic area, as the next restroom is at Tianzi Grassland, which is a bit of a distance. Also, there are no gas stations inside the scenic area, so make sure to fill up your tank before entering. The highland grasslands consume fuel quickly. 💪 📷【Photography】 1. Outside Hongshiya Scenic Area: About 5km from the scenic area, there is a free small dirt hill where you can take beautiful photos embracing the sky. It's easy to find, just one road, and many cars will stop here. The hill is a bit steep, so don't wear high heels. 👠 2. Inside Hongshiya Scenic Area: The scenic area is a straight road to the end. Stop wherever you like. If you want to watch the sunset, find an open spot inside the scenic area and wait. Don't leave the scenic area, as the mountain roads outside won't give you a good view of the sunset. 🌄 🎒【Grassland Essentials】 Windbreaker, sun protection clothing, beautiful dresses, sun hat, mosquito repellent, mask, sunglasses, boots, sunscreen, raincoat, umbrella, cash, backpack, power bank, food, and drinks. Don't miss any of these to make your grassland trip perfect. 😉 💡Little tips: ① Buy tickets at the entrance for 60 yuan per person, or book online. ② There are herdsmen's horses inside the scenic area. Horse riding costs between 50 and 100 yuan. If you want to ride a horse, do it at the front where there are pastures, as there are no horses further in. Make sure to find a legitimate horse team with someone holding the reins. Don't startle the horses; safety first. 💕
