Hongshiya is located 30 km north of the university town in Zhuozi County, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia. You can drive from Hohhot along County Road 103. The road is in good condition and the drive takes about 1.5 hours. 4️⃣ Photography Spots Scenic Area Entrance Archway: The archway has a local style and can be used as a photo background. Take a photo with the archway to capture the moment you arrive at the scenic area. Internet-famous House: Located at P8, turn right at the entrance tower and cross the bridge. The rows of wooden houses make for great photos, perfect for portraits and landscape shots. Alpine Meadow: Covered in snow in winter, the meadow forms a spectacular snow mountain landscape. You can take photos of the snow-covered mountains or capture moments of interaction with cattle and sheep in the snow. Viewing Platform: There are viewing platforms along the road where you can enjoy and photograph the natural beauty of the pine forest and snow. Internet-famous Bend: On the way to the scenic area, you can take photos of the winding road combined with the surrounding snow and mountains to create photos with depth and beauty. ⚠️ Notes The mountain road is difficult to drive on, so bring motion sickness medicine if you get carsick easily. The scenic area is at a high altitude with strong UV rays, so take precautions against sunburn. Check the weather forecast in advance and choose a suitable time to travel.
