#biketour During my recent trip to Frankfurt, I decided to explore the city on a bike, and it was an awesome way to see everything! 🚴♂️ I rented a bike for about €15 for the day, which was totally worth it. Starting at the Römer Square, I pedaled through the charming old town with its medieval buildings. The Main River bike paths were my favorite—smooth, scenic, and you get fantastic views of the skyline, which mixes modern skyscrapers with historical architecture. I also stopped at Palmengarten, a beautiful botanical garden, which has an entrance fee of around €7. There’s something so peaceful about cycling through Frankfurt’s green spaces, especially the Grüneburgpark, which felt like a hidden gem. Plus, the city is pretty bike-friendly, with lots of designated lanes, making it easy to get around. If you’re looking for a laid-back way to explore the city, a bike tour is definitely the way to go! Hotel Topas is located in downtown Frankfurt and exudes a very German atmosphere from its exterior to its interior. The hotel stands out for its cleanliness, being situated in the city center. The breakfast is simple, light, and delicious. Additionally, it is very close to the train station, making transportation very convenient. The location is great, right on a commercial street, with a subway station nearby and a row of taxis at the door. It's a 20-minute walk from the train station (a bustling commercial pedestrian street) and is located in a slightly older building. The hotel was renovated a couple of years ago, so the interior facilities are very modern, the hardware is good, and you can use the Marriott app's electronic room card. Original wood furniture, simple and generous modern style, capsule coffee machine. The basic room type is also very spacious, with a large table and sofa. The hotel has a beautiful skylight atrium on the first floor, which is a bar area. The only downside is that there were not enough front desk staff when checking in at night, and I had to wait in line for 20 minutes. The attitude was okay, but a deposit was collected according to the number of days of stay. In Europe, few hotels charge a deposit, most are credit card guarantees or pre-authorizations, although the amount was not large this time, it was a bit unexpected. The hotel price is not expensive during non-exhibition periods, 150-200 euros, the same grade of hotel in other cities in Germany is 200-300, France and Italy will be more expensive. German hotels are generally reasonably priced, as long as you don't catch up with holidays and exhibitions, it's similar to domestic ones. Even in Bavaria, only a few boutique resort hotels in the mountains are expensive. Perhaps because the proportion of tourism is low and the city is not crowded, hotels are not scarce.

This Gothic-style cathedral, known as Kaiserdom, was the coronation site for Holy Roman Emperors. 📍Domplatz 1, 60311 Frankfurt am Main, Germany P/S: Just to recommend one of my favorite restaurant, Apfelwein Wagner. We ordered the "Frankfurter Schnitzel" with green sauce, a local specialty. The birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Germany’s most famous writer. The house is restored to reflect 18th-century life, which we find it very interesting. 📍Großer Hirschgraben 23-25, 60311 Frankfurt am Main, Germany We then walked around the Paulskirche (St. Paul's Church). It is known for being the seat of the first democratically elected parliament in 1848. 📍Paulsplatz 11, 60311 Frankfurt am Main, Germany We also explored around Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Börse). 🍃If you are around Frankfurt, I really recommend Günthersburgpark.🌷 This Park is located around Westend area, and it's where I like to have a stroll in the morning before starting with my day. What I love about it in the morning are all the red squirrels that are running around the ground and bottom of the trees for food.🐿️ It's adorable and I truly love the experience. The park is easily accessible via public transportation.🌿 I also like the park's serene atmosphere.🌾 The greenery, peaceful pond, and charming bridges made for a picturesque scene. The park is well-maintained and there are plenty of benches and picnic tables to relax on.🌺 💫One of the highlights of the park is the stunning rose garden with the vibrant colors and sweet fragrances. What a treat for the senses. The park is also kids and parents friendly🦆. This is a place one that caught my eyes from far from outside, used for previous coronation of emperors. I recently had a short layover in Frankfurt in terminal 2. It was a very quick and efficient method to get the many passengers through security, and once through, there were plenty of places to eat, drink and relax. At the boarding gates, there are lots of seating spaces with nice views of the runway and charging stations available for electronics. Mr. Lee Restaurant in Frankfurt am Main at Gutleutstraße 153 is easily accessible by tram 14, 16 and 21 station Baseler Platz from Frankfurt Central Railway Station. If you're craving for an authentic korean food, it is one of the best places to go for dining in. The prices are fair and they offer a complete lunch menu for 15€ which vary every day. Their lunch menu was more than enough for one person and everything served tasted delectable and gorgeous! I would definitely comeback there next time! #shopandtrip MyZeil shopping mall is one of the biggest shopping in Frankfurt and is easily accessible by the metro there. During my stay in Frankfurt, I visited MyZeil quite a number of times. There were a lot of restaurants over there and I have tried a few of them like Big Chefs, Izu Asian Bistro. I was delighted as the food I had were all very yummy. There were also many other retail shops for those who love shopping. My wife bought some beauty products from one of the stores there.

The Westin Grand Frankfurt is conveniently located in the heart of the city. It is just few train stations away from the main station. The front desk service and bell are superb with top notch personal touch. The room is spacious and the gym is available 24 hours. An indoor pool is also available with a coed sauna and steam room. Westin Grand Frankfurt is conveniently located in the heart of Frankfurt and very near the shopping areas. Only 2 train stops away from the main Frankfurt Hbf. The service from the valet to the reception is superb. The room is spacious with all the required amenities. The gym is available 24/7 and has many equipments. Spa and sauna are also available for guests. I checked in during my birthday and they acknowledged that and offered a 5 hour early check in which was very much appreciated. ⛪Peterskirchhof is a historic cemetery located in the center of Frankfurt. It is also a nice shortcut to get into the city center if you are located in the Nordend area of Frankfurt. Next to the cemetery there is the church called Peterskirche. It's a Romanesque church dating back to the 12th century, and is one of the oldest cemeteries in the city.🌹 🌱The cemetery is has a serene atmosphere and is filled with flashy greenery and colorful flowers. This creates a beautiful contrast with the old tombstones and the Peterskirche. 🌿There is a variety of graves and monuments. From simple headstones to elaborate tombs. 💫One of the more notable graves include those of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's mother, Catharina Elisabeth Goethe, and the famous German publisher, Johann Friedrich Cotta. 🍃Peterskirchhof is a beautiful and peaceful place in the heart of Frankfurt. We were holidaying in Frankfurt and wanted to go somewhere for shopping and good. MyZeil was the perfect shopping mall as there are were many retail shops and restaurants over there. I recently had the opportunity to visit the cemetery of Frankfurt (Hauptfriedhof), and I must say that it was a truly unique and memorable experience.🌷The cemetery is located in the heart of the city and is one of the oldest and largest cemeteries in Germany.🌿 🌱Upon entering the cemetery, I was struck by its serene and peaceful atmosphere. 🌾The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. The cemetery is decorated with trees and plants, which add to its natural beauty.🌺🥀 🦆As I walked through the cemetery, I was impressed by the many different styles of gravestones and monuments. 🪨Some were simple, while others were elaborate and ornate, with intricate carvings and details. 🌺You can even find graves of famous people t such as of Arthur Schopenhauer the philosopher. 💮 🍃One of the highlights of my visit was the Jewish section of the cemetery.🪴 Here, I saw rows of gravestones with Hebrew inscriptions, as well as a large memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.
