Being awestruck by the beauty of the Nu River is indeed like being in a place where gods and humans dwell (with guide)
Living in Yunnan for 5️⃣ years, the couple 👩❤️👨
Before going to the Nu River: The scenery is average, nothing to play with
After going to the Nu River: How come no one visits such a beautiful place!!!
The Nu River is too beautiful, with high mountains and deep gorges, and the river water is emerald green. It's not an exaggeration to say there's a view at every step!
It's a pity that too few people travel to the Nu River, its beauty is sky-high and unknown; yet I'm also glad that too few people travel there, as the travel experience is really great 👍
Sharing a bit of our Nu River itinerary, 🈚️ go ahead with confidence –

🗺️ Recommended spots
① Tiger Leaping Gorge: You can get close to the river, with many huge rocks and waves in the river, very spectacular!
② Lao Mudeng: A small Nu ethnic village, opposite is the Crown Peak (Chennault Peak), an important point on the famous Hump Air Route. There's also a Christian church in the village, said to be the earliest Christian church in Nujiang Prefecture.
③ Zhizi Luo: The City of Memory – It was once the capital of Nujiang Prefecture, but was abandoned due to potential geological disasters, and time has forever stopped in 1986 –
④ Dongfeng Village: The village is suddenly open between the gorges, with large rapeseed flowers in spring and large rice fields in summer and autumn. There's also a Puhua Temple in the village, a Tibetan temple from the Kangxi and Qianlong era.
⑤ Wuli Village: As the name suggests, a village in the fog – The ancient Tea Horse Road passes through the village, and looking up, you can see the Biluo Snow Mountain!
⑥ Dulong River National Park: Explore the mysterious Dulong people, tattooed women – high mountains and deep gorges, the river water is vast, which makes me think of 'A mountain does not need to be high to have a spirit, a water does not need to be deep to have a dragon'...
📌 Travel tips:
❶ There are traffic restrictions when entering the Dulong River, with passage times at 11am-1pm, and after 6pm in the afternoon; the open section is from the Dulong River Scenic Area gate to the exit of the Dulong River Tunnel (📝 it is said that from April onwards there will be no more restrictions)
❷ The Nu River area has a lot of rain all year round, remember to bring an umbrella ☔️
❸ The road conditions in and out of the Dulong River are very good, no worries~
❹ The tattooed women of Wengdang Village in the Dulong River are easy to find, the grandma speaks Mandarin, and you're welcome to take photos with her~
