Have you heard of the Eunpyeong Hanok Village? It's up and coming more recently but if you're a hiker and you've been to the Bukhansan Mountain range, you may be more familiar with this area! It's been trending because of the new @starbuckskorea with an amazing view and also because of the @lin_official café that grew its popularity through the TV show @heartsignal.official The Eunpyeong Hanok Village is definitely less crowded and touristy compared to other Hanok villages in Seoul. With that being said, you may not be able to find as many cafes and restaurants as others - I found that this one is more residential and Hanok stay based for visitors wanting that traditional accommodation experience. #Seoul #hiddengems #hanok

I've been to Seoul a lot of times and I really like hanok style house but this is my first time visiting this hanok village. Hanok is the traditional house for korean, like we see in their drama. I really love how unique it is. This village is located around 50 minutes from Seoul center by bus. My first time here and I already love how calm and beautiful it is. Theres not many people here maybe because its a little bit far. But you can walk around and take photos without any distractions. They also have a very famous cafe with awesome view. Update on a new beautiful cafe for those who are going to Korea. First stop is 1 in 1 Jan, located in a new tourist area of ​​Seoul, Eunpyeong Hanok Village. It is an area of ​​old-style houses for us to visit and walk around comfortably. Importantly, during this season, there is also a view of changing leaves spreading all the way to the mountains behind. The cafe is a 5-story building. The first 3 floors open early in the morning. There are many types of seats, such as chairs, sofas, sitting by the window to enjoy the view, or a Korean room like in the cover. The 4th and 5th floors open at 11:00 AM. There are more serious food and dessert sets than the cafe. The cafe menu itself is not small. There are many types of coffee and non-coffee drinks to choose from. You can choose from a variety of coffee, regular or signature menus. We can also ask to see the English menu at the shop. The non-coffee side has milk, various types of chocolate ade, and many types of tea. I tried Omija Tea. The taste was a bit strange. I don't really like old-style tea. The shop has 5-6 types of desserts to choose from, both Western and old-style Korean desserts to add to the atmosphere. If anyone has a plan to visit the new ancient village, Hanok Village, I recommend you to stop by and have a drink and enjoy the view. The atmosphere is very good. The shop is starting to become popular among Koreans. I recommend you to come here for a while so you can reserve a seat with a good view. Eunpyeong Hanok Village was established in December 2014 at Bukhansan. There are many attractions to visit here, and spending half a day is no problem. I went to Seoul from November 4th to 7th. This is Eunpyeong Hanok Village, which I got to on the 701 bus from Yeonsinnae Station. It was a weekday, and the view of the quiet traditional houses and the majestic Bukhansan Mountain was truly amazing. After arriving at Hanok Village, I first went to Jingaksa Temple, then to the village. The magnificent view was taken from the rooftop of One Person One Tea. I've been visiting Korea for decades, but the majestic Bukhansan Mountain is a mountain that I can never forget, no matter how many times I see it. It takes about 40 minutes from the city center. Please go and check it out. It seems that the 701 bus also leaves from Seoul Station. It's also a good idea to take a 45-minute bus ride to get there while looking at the city of Seoul. #eatlikealocal 📍Irin Iljan Café, Seoul, South Korea Visited this beautiful and aesthetic café while travelling to Seoul and this is one of the prettiest café I’ve ever visited. Consisting of 5 floors, there is a lot of seating areas. It is being separated to a café and restaurant, comprising of different menus. The views from the café was stunning, surrounded by the hanok village, such an Instagrammable place. Be sure to be there early to get the photo spot! We ordered some of their local delicacies, rice cakes which was nicely decorated and too pretty to be eaten. Almond latte was pretty good! Would recommend this place to visitors enthusiastic of taking instagrammable photos!

There is a number of hanok villages (districts in old traditional style) in Seoul with the most famous of them being located nearby historical palaces. They are pretty and... crowded. There is a secret hanok village in Seoul with very few people... the downside? - it is over an hour bus ride away from Seoul downtown. Eunpyeong hanok village is a new one, built exactly for tourists (though, it is still a residential area as well and some people live there). It is located by Bukhasan National park, so it is a good combo for before the hike. When we visited this place back in early Sept 2023 we rarely saw tourist except local tourists and there is also a couple of korean folks shoot their wedding here. This place seems pretty new since the building are very structured and in good condition
