🇹🇷Cappadocia’s classic landmark | Fairy chimney or mushroom mushroom🍄
#naturalscape
Cappadocia attracts a large number of tourists every year because of its unique topography. One of the most special sights is the fairy chimney. It is the largest magical stone forest in Turkey. The locals call it "Peri bacalari". In my opinion, it looks more like A lot of cute mushrooms🍄
There are quite a lot of attractions in Cappadocia, and the Fairy Chimneys are located in the Goreme area and are easy to reach. The parking lot of the scenic spot was nearly half full early in the morning, and the popularity was average. The Fairy Chimneys scenic spot is not big overall. It can be completed in more than an hour by walking slowly and taking pictures.
This place is really like a fairy tale world. Friends who like to take pictures can stay for half a day. It is very photogenic. Ladies, if you can wear a red one-piece dress, you can get the most beautiful travel photos in an instant, it’s amazing 👍, recommended!

The horseback tour was OK, although I felt on safety terms with the horseman leading the tour. On the whole I think one hour is best not two hours. Does get a little boring. But doing the valley of chimneys landscape is beautiful.

The Real Fairy Tale Setting
This is one place which will make you believe that nature works in its own unique ways.
Fairy Chimneys like the name says look really like being from a fairy tale.Carved by lava, wind, rain etc over hundreds of thousands of years, wonderful hiking in the area.
Located in central Turkey is known for its distinctive " fairy chimneys," tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Göreme and near by valleys. This by far has been one of my favorite places to visit, with a moon like landscape, underground cities, cave churches daiting back to the Byzantine era, and houses carved in the rocks! This region took my breath away...
These mountains and terrain is a must visit and second to none.

A Journey through Fairy Chimney Valley
As I ventured into Fairy Chimney Valley, I couldn't help but be captivated by the enchanting landscape that unfolded before me. The valley is nestled in the heart of Cappadocia, Turkey, and it truly feels like stepping into a fairytale.
As I strolled along the winding paths, I was greeted by an otherworldly sight — towering rock formations, whimsically shaped like chimneys, which seemed to defy gravity. These "fairy chimneys" were the result of volcanic eruptions and thousands of years of wind and water erosion, creating a truly unique and mystical atmosphere.
The valley offered a myriad of activities for me to immerse myself. Exploring the valley on foot was equally mesmerizing. I found hidden caves and ancient cave dwellings carved into the soft volcanic rock. Some of these caves had been converted into charming boutique hotels, providing a one-of-a-kind stay amidst the ethereal surroundings.
I couldn't resist the temptation to hike through the valley's trails, each turn revealing new wonders and hidden surprises. There were hidden churches adorned with stunning Byzantine frescoes, adding a touch of history and spirituality to the already enchanting ambiance.
And let's not forget about the local cuisine! Cappadocia is known for its delicious food, and I savored traditional Turkish dishes like mouthwatering kebabs, fresh mezze, and the famous Turkish tea. Dining in open-air restaurants, surrounded by the whimsical rock formations, added an extra layer of magic to every meal.
My time in Fairy Chimney Valley was nothing short of extraordinary. The natural beauty, the sense of wonder, and the warm hospitality of the locals made it an unforgettable experience. If you ever have the chance to visit, I highly recommend immersing yourself in the enchantment of this unique destination.

Turkish Journey- Pasha Bay Elf Chimney
Paşabağı, located in the north of Cappadocia, is the gathering place of the most beautiful and lovely fairy chimneys in the entire region, and is a magical natural landscape that cannot be missed. Paşabağı is rugged and natural, with fairy chimneys of different sizes and heights, some with multiple heads and pointed caps, and various shapes, which are very special. Some are connected in a row, some stand alone, and from a distance, they look like a village connected to another village, or a group of brothers standing next to another group of brothers. Fairy chimneys are also called "mushroom stones". Each stone pillar with a small hat looks like a mushroom drilled out of the ground, and the color of these "hats" is slightly darker than the white limestone column body, which is more similar to mushrooms. In fact, these are extra-large cone-shaped rock layers, slowly weathered rocks, creating a unique wonder in the world.

One of the world's most beautiful towns, Turkey's Göreme town.
Göreme is located in eastern Turkey, the westernmost point of the Asian continent, with unique landforms in the Cappadocia region, specifically in the province of Nevşehir in central Anatolia. Around the 14th century BC, the Hittite people lived here by carving caves, and the Hittite kingdom was once the most powerful country in western Asia.
Göreme is a small town running north and south. It takes only half an hour to walk back and forth in the bustling area at the center of the town. Various small shops are scattered along the road, selling everything from cushion covers, felt hats, old doorbells, fridge magnets, postcards, to spinning begging bowls of monks. Whatever souvenir you want, you can find it here. The volcanic ash in Greyme has been weathered and eroded by rainwater for millions of years, forming countless strange rock formations that resemble both needle mushrooms and skinny chimneys, known as "fairy chimneys". In these seemingly barren cliffs, there are countless rock-cut churches, cave dwellings, and underground city ruins hidden.
/Göreme's open-air museum is located in a valley, condensed with the characteristics and scenery of Cappadocia. It was once a gathering place for Christians after the 9th century. Many Christians took refuge in these caves, leaving murals on the walls and decorating the caves into churches. The walls of the caves still retain the images of characters from the Bible to this day, faintly discernible.
/Attention! Introduce the super popular internet-famous carpet store, also the largest one in the town. It's very close to "Meihua Chinese Restaurant". From afar, you can see all kinds of beautiful carpets hanging at their door. It's even more amazing inside the store.

Fairy chimney and Devrent valley
#bucketlistreboot
Known as Pasabag Valley Cappadocia- Home of Mushroom-Shaped Fairy Chimneys. Its is 6.5 kilometres 10 minutes by car from Goreme. When you approach it looks like a forest of giant mushrooms, legend say that those are made by fairies, that call fairy chimneys .The formations that once used as a seclusion place for the Monks, so it's is also called Monk Valley.
Not far away around 5.5 kilometres 10 minutes drive you will reach Devrent Valley also called imagination Valley, because the famous fairy chimney that looks like Camel and many others type. It is part of the Cappadocia Red Tour.
Raymond TCY
The fairy chimney is the most magical and unique landscape in the Cappadocia region. It is actually some extra-large conical rock formations. The soft rock resembles a tapered spire. The top of the minaret is given a softer basalt "hat" by nature.
A variety of stone pillars of various shapes rise up, and there are strange hats on their heads. People think that they live in the elves, and they call them "immortal chimneys" or "elf chimneys."
First, let's talk about how these fairy chimneys are formed. The eruption of the Elgiyes volcano in Cappadocia hundreds of millions of years ago, the lava erupted from the volcano changed the surrounding terrain, and several hundred meters of volcanic ash and lava piled up to form tuff and lava. Since then, the slowly weathered rock has created a unique tourist spectacle in the world.
This root chimney is not only different in color but sometimes discolored. Some are light red, ochre or brown, while others are gray, khaki or milky white. The surface of the rock is very clean, and as the sun and clouds change, it changes its own color.
These fairy chimneys are naturally formed, but they can also be said to be masterpieces created by Vulcan, Fengshen, Rain God and the old man of time.
No matter how many chimneys you look at, you will never find two identical ones. They are so unique and unique.
Rachel Yu.
The fairy chimney is also one of the places I liked in Kappa. The towering and strange rock is like a chimney. It is very magical and I have to feel the magic of nature.
In addition to the strange landforms, the rocks here are hard and can be climbed, making it more entertaining, with the emphasis on the weather getting better!
Although it is called the fairy chimney, but I dont see the immortal, hey, Ill make it difficult to be a fairy summer.
