Not sure where to spend Christmas? This restaurant in Shanghai is a must-visit. This time, I found that it has changed into a Christmas-themed restaurant. The indoor dining area is full of Christmas decorations, and there is a Harry Potter-style room on the first floor. It's a great place to take photos. 📷 - 🔻 Christmas Garden Margherita Pizza This is a Christmas-themed garden dish! The pizza base is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. It has a sweet and cheesy flavor, with a hint of fresh basil. Green & Safe The photo is actually of Green & Safe in Isetan, Meilong Town. With the closure of Isetan Department Store, this restaurant no longer exists. Green & Safe restaurants in Shanghai all have one thing in common: they are full of greenery and vitality, and you feel like you are walking into nature. We ordered a set meal for 2–3 people, including avocado salad, truffle porcini mushroom pizza, codfish stew with tomato and vegetables, and US Angus hormone-free ribeye steak. All dishes are made with fresh ingredients. My favorite is the carrot cake, which is topped with a layer of sour cream. It tastes amazing!

GREEN & SAFE is the most popular restaurant in Xintiandi during the Christmas season. I haven't seen a restaurant with a waitlist at 1 pm on a weekday in a long time, but luckily, I only had to wait 10 minutes. This year, GREEN & SAFE's Christmas theme is "Brilliant Galaxy." The high ceilings, giant Christmas tree, brilliant galaxy, and reindeer make you feel like you're in a fairy tale. My bestie and I ordered mulled wine, hot chocolate, cake, and other food and took some photos. The Christmas atmosphere was amazing. If you plan to visit, I suggest going on a weekday to avoid the crowds. There are even more people on weekends.

Green & Safe should be in your list of restaurants to try when you are staying in Shanghai. Location wise is quite convenient as it is in the city's down town so It can be reached easily by taxi or public transport. This is a fantastic place to spend a couple of hours catching up with friends, having a drink and enjoying their delicious dishes. There is variety of drinks with alcohol and non-alcoholic as well. It is a big restaurant with a nice atmosphere, service is good and the food is nicely presented.
