Hengdaohezi: Exploring the charm of Northeast winter
🎈Before I came to Hengdaohezi in the Northeast, I knew almost nothing about this small town. However, when I set foot in this snowy area, I discovered the unique charm of the Northeast winter.
🎈First, let me mention the time in Harbin city. At that time, I had never seen such beautiful snow scenery. But when I arrived at Hengdaohezi, I was almost buried alive in a snow pit. This made me realize that the cold in the Northeast is not just cold, but a hellish experience.
🎈However, the beauty here is not just about the scenery. For me, the most important thing is to be able to live well. To cope with the cold, I wrapped myself like a meatball, and even the Northeast tigers gave me a look of disgust. My sisters all put on big cotton pants, warmers, down jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, and I was no exception.
🎈Hengdaohezi is a typical Northeast rural small town, with smoking chimneys and crooked utility poles. The heating here is sometimes on and sometimes off, and it gets completely dark at four o'clock every afternoon. Accompanied by heavy snow, you will find that there really exists a parallel time and space here. Walking in this small town, it seems to have traveled into the long winter of the Northeast.
🎈When touring Hengdaohezi, you can go to see the Gothic tower tip and the brightly colored train station, which is as beautiful as a fairy tale. In addition, at the railway crossing, you can also feel the unique charm under the heavy snow. The Church of the Virgin Mary is the only wooden carved structure church in China, with a typical Russian architectural style. In the museum, you can also learn about the life and culture of the emigrants at that time. In addition, there are more than 200 Russian-style wooden houses in the town, such as yellow houses, green doors, and board camphor trees, which are very beautiful to take pictures at will. The Hengdaohezi locomotive depot retains the historical memory of an era, and those rusty steam locomotive heads witnessed the glorious moment of this small town.
🎈If you are interested in animals, you must not miss the Hengdaohezi Northeast Tiger Forest Park. This is the world's largest artificial breeding base for Northeast tigers, and I am only a layer of wire mesh away from the Northeast big cats. Although Wu Song's experience of fighting tigers made me confused, it did not prevent me from being a cat lover to stroke the cats. Here, the Northeast tigers show their king of beasts, with thick fur, their beauty is fascinating.
🎈Regarding transportation, Hengdaohezi Town is about 278 kilometers away from Harbin, and it takes about 3 hours to drive. It takes about 1.5 hours to take the high-speed rail from Harbin, 88 kilometers away from Snow Town, and 61 kilometers away from Yabuli Town. If it is during the holiday period, it is recommended to drive there, because you can't get a car at all after getting off the car. Usually, taking the D-train back and forth is the most convenient choice.
🎈Regarding the itinerary, after you arrive at Hengdaohezi, you can go to visit the Northeast Tiger Forest Park first, but be careful not to stay outdoors for too long to avoid losing temperature. After eating tendon cakes at noon, you can visit the Russian-style small town, train station, town streets, railway crossings, and locomotive depots along the way.
🎈Finally, there are some precautions to remind everyone. First, it is recommended to find an indoor place to warm up every 1 hour to avoid getting cold. Secondly, because the snow is very thick, you must wear non-slip shoes, avoid going to places without footprints, and easily sink into the snow.
🎈Hengdaohezi, this small town in the Northeast winter, its beauty and charm far exceed my original imagination. If you want to experience the real Northeast winter, why not come here and feel the tranquility and loneliness in the ice and snow.
