Venice: A Dreamy Journey Through the Romantic Water City.
Venice is a city full of magic, captivating with every step. From the moment I set foot in Venice, I was enchanted by the charm of this water city. Riding a gondola, leisurely gliding through the canals, the buildings and bridges on either side reflect on the water, creating a stunning picture.
St. Mark's Square is the heart of Venice, with the magnificent St. Mark's Basilica and Campanile leaving visitors in awe. We climbed the Campanile to overlook the breathtaking view of the entire Venice. The cafes in the square offer authentic Italian coffee, making it a delightful place to rest.
Strolling through the narrow alleys, every turn brings new surprises. Various exquisite craft shops, fashionable boutiques, and aromatic restaurants make it hard to leave. We tasted local specialties like squid ink risotto, seafood platters, and fresh pasta, all of which were delicious and unforgettable.
The short trip to Venice left me longing for more. This city, with its unique water scenery and rich historical culture, has captured my heart. This journey will forever remain in my memory as a beautiful experience.

Festival of Venice 🇮🇹
#festivaljoy
I recently attended the Festival of Venice, and it was absolutely magical! 🎭 The whole city comes alive during the festival, with people dressed in elaborate costumes and masks, turning the streets and canals into a living piece of art. The entrance to the public events is free, but if you want to attend one of the famous masquerade balls, tickets can be pricey—up to €500 or more for the full experience.
The atmosphere in St. Mark’s Square was electric, with live performances, music, and incredible photo opportunities. I spent hours wandering through the narrow streets and along the canals, marveling at the craftsmanship of the masks and costumes. After the festival events, I visited iconic spots like the Rialto Bridge and Doge’s Palace, making it a perfect mix of culture and celebration. If you’re in Italy during Carnival season, Venice is a must-see!

《Newbie Must-Read! Detailed Venice Guide, Let's Explore the Dreamy Water City》
Hi, guys! I just got back from Venice, and it was like a dream. Today, I'm going to share my Venice trip with you. This is a super detailed guide that will help you have fun in this water city.
I. Destination Introduction
Venice, the world-renowned romantic water city! It is located in northeastern Italy and is composed of 118 small islands. It is famous for its unique canals and ancient buildings. The climate here is relatively mild, not too hot in summer, and not particularly cold in winter. But be aware that it often rains in Venice, so it's best to bring an umbrella when you go out.
II. Food Recommendations
1. Seafood Risotto: When you come to Venice, you must not miss the seafood risotto. The delicious seafood with rich sauce and rice makes people intoxicated with every bite. The restaurant I went to is called "La Taverna". The environment is super warm and the service is very thoughtful. In addition to seafood risotto, their grilled octopus is also recommended. The taste is very delicious.
2. Italian Ice Cream: There are many flavors of ice cream here, and they are all very strong. My favorite is pistachio and strawberry, which is sweet but not greasy. There are many ice cream shops near St. Mark's Square, you can try any one.
3. Fried Seafood: Various fresh seafood is fried to golden and crispy, and it makes a "crisp" sound with a bite. It is recommended to go to "Trattoria da Fiore". Their fried seafood platter is very good, with shrimp, squid, small fish, etc., and it is simply paired with a glass of refreshing white wine.
III. Scenic Spot Introduction
1. St. Mark's Square: This is the heart of Venice, very spectacular. There are famous buildings such as St. Mark's Cathedral and Bell Tower on the square. St. Mark's Cathedral is open for free, but you need to dress appropriately. You can buy tickets to the bell tower. The ticket price is about 10 euros. You can overlook the beautiful scenery of Venice from above. It is recommended to go in the morning or evening, there will be fewer people, and the light is also suitable for taking pictures.
2. Bridge of Sighs: This bridge connects the Governor's Mansion and the prison. It is said that prisoners will sigh when they walk over this bridge, hence the name. The Bridge of Sighs cannot be visited on the bridge, only photos can be taken outside. The best photo spot is by the canal under the bridge, where you can take a panoramic view of the bridge.
3. Gondola Cruise: This is definitely a feature of Venice. Sitting on a gondola and shuttling through the narrow canals, feeling the romance and tranquility of this city. The price is generally around 80 euros for a boat, which can seat 6 people. It is recommended to take a seat in the evening, the lights are on, it is very beautiful.
IV. Precautions
1. Safety issues: There are many tourists in Venice, so you need to take care of your belongings, especially in crowded places. Try not to walk alone in remote alleys at night.
2. Local etiquette: When visiting churches and other religious places, you need to dress appropriately and cannot wear shorts, skirts and shoulderless clothes.
3. Language communication: Italians mainly speak Italian, but many people also speak English in tourist attractions and restaurants. However, it is best to learn some simple Italian phrases, which will make your trip smoother.
V. Personal Experience Sharing
This trip to Venice is really unforgettable for me. My friends and I walked on the ancient streets, feeling the history and culture of this city. We took a gondola, it was really romantic. In St. Mark's Square, we listened to the performance of street artists and enjoyed the sun and the scenery. The food in Venice also made us feast, and every dish was memorable.
Guys, if you also want to have a romantic trip, then Venice is definitely your best choice. Hurry up and collect this guide, and take a trip! I believe you will fall in love with this beautiful water city.

Essential Tips | Guide to a Day Trip in Venice, Italy
❗️Venice is a name that has resonated with me since childhood~ It's a magical place in Europe that I've always heard adults talk about, where everything is water~ There's no land~ Houses are built on the surface of the water!
😠Very curious! Finally got the chance to come here as an adult, wanting to see this city where there is no land and all life is on the water.
Arrived in Venice. 📑Pure essential tips sharing.
Venice has always been known as the 'City of Water'. The city has a total of 177 canals, connected by 401 bridges of various designs.
(Mission Impossible has even filmed scenes here.)
✅Getting on the island:
I recommend buying a day pass, as Venice's water public transport is operated by the ACTV company, and I find the transportation costs a bit expensive, with a single ticket costing 9.5 euros.
You can buy tickets from machines at the stations, which is convenient.
✅Attraction Introduction
Water taxis, you can experience a gondola ride here, where the gondolier rows you around. (The prices are also very transparent)
The gondoliers in Venice are more handsome than the next, and even though the weather is cold, seeing a handsome guy makes you feel incredibly happy. My heart is on fire.
PS‼️(In photos 456 behind me, that bridge, when you walk over it, make sure to keep a close eye on your belongings, just a short bridge, you know, personal and property safety comes first.)
Went to St. Mark's Square on the off-island, ⛪️ just in time for the bell ringing, the sound echoing over the square is the 'sound of freedom'.
There are many shops and markets around the square. 🎉Very lively.
✅Attraction Photography
Venice is also very photogenic, whether you're sitting on a gondola taking photos🤳 or in St. Mark's Square.
👍Take a stroll through the Rialto Market, experience the local life and culture of the locals, it has a unique charm.

Venice in August is beautiful and lively
Seeing is believing, there are many people and boats, the weather is great and the scenery is pleasing, much better than the small canals spread on the internet. You can stay for one night, two nights, or three nights, it's all up to you.
Bus No. 5 runs between the airport and the city station every 20 minutes, you can buy tickets directly from the driver, pay in cash, one way is 10 euros, less than 30 minutes, super convenient.
It's best to just carry a backpack, don't drag a suitcase. There are steps and small bridges everywhere in the city, dragging a suitcase will exhaust you.

Venice - City of love !!
A quick day trip to Venice before disappear from this 🌎. Due to global warming and glaciers melting, water level is higher and higher day by day. Sooner or later , James Bond movies have to change locations 🤪🤪!!
Venice is easy accessible from many locations by trian , bus , ferry and flights. For me , I took day trip from Milan . Since I have Eurail pass , I can Just use my pass to go there by train and it took less than 2:30hrs .
I would say, Venice have two different face , one is touristy area and the other part of island is local fishing area . I explore the whole island by foot and have my lunch at one local place and it cost me 1/3 of normal tourist area charge 🤭🤭, but you need to prepare to walk when you are with me 😆!!
San Marco Square area and Gondola ride areas are too crowded and the rest of the island are still adorable and enjoyable with small alley and lovely local shops . Once you are in Venice , try to walk around the other part and enjoy different side of Venice . See you all on the other side of the 🌎 !!

St. Mark's Square Venice, Italy
St. Mark's Square is the landmark in Venice. It is one of the most unique squares in Europe. I love taking a stroll around here and chasing the pigeons. So relaxing. The nice musicians, cafes, architecture, Grand Canal, statue of the lion of San Marco spread its wings, statue of the sacred San Theodore accompanied by crocodiles. Everything was perfect.

Venice, I’m gondola miss you
Venice is one of Italy’s most picturesque cities. Beautiful floating palaces of stone surrounded by an ancient network of canals. Venice is one of the most popular Italian cities for tourists, even with all the other beautiful & historic places there are in Italy. There are basically no roads, transportation is accomplished via boats on a confusing network of canals. It’s truly unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before!
Here, we explored Saint Mark’s Square. Also called Piazza San Marco, it is Venice’s main public square, basically the social heart of the city. There are a bunch of famous landmarks here, like the Clock Tower, St. Mark’s Basilica. Then, the The Grand Canal, which is the most important channel running through the city. Many of these buildings can only be accessed by boat. We also visited the St. Mark's Basilica, the most famous of Venice’s churches and the cathedral of the Patriarchate of Venice. As a lavish and much-beloved symbol of Venetian history, it’s totally worth a stop.
Overall, Venice is worth visiting. Venice is an enchanting city that casts visitors under an intoxicating spell. It’s dreamy and romantic, with an undercurrent of mystery and drama. Venice is such a special place to the point that it almost doesn’t feel real. There's so much to see, and it’s so perfect.

St. Mark’s Square otherwise known as “Piazza San Marco” in Italian is an iconic landmark in Venice Italy. This landmark is frequented by millions of tourists local and international every year for the views, culture, fresh air, and a unique experience involving the city on top of water.
There is also a casino that is close by this tourist square destination for those interested.
In this square there are plenty of restaurants to eat at, and the square is quite large for walking. Often there are people outside talking in the square and tour groups taking pictures. There are plenty of shopping opportunities too if you are looking for souvenirs.

PIAZZA THAT CHARMS 🇮🇹✈️
The most well-known square is St. Mark's Square.
This square is incredibly important to Venice and is an absolutely breathtaking place to visit. It is situated on the grand canal, across from the island of San Giorgio Maggiore.
A collection of elaborate structures with arched walkways surround the Piazza and perfectly frame it.
Additionally, the plaza is home to a number of significant structures, including the Torre dell'Orologio, the Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Campanile, and St. Mark's Basilica.
The best site to begin your tour of Venice and see some of its most magnificent sights is this Piazza, in my opinion.

My graduation trip in Europe! Bringing family around was super tiring as I needed to plan everything, however, I feel satisfied when they are happy! I tried my best to bring them to see as much as possible. I previously visited these places already and I feel they are worth to go again!
By the way, the road is pretty complicated in Venice! You need to spare more time in the morning if you have morning train to another city! We almost missed our train haha

The most romantic city in the world, you can't visit Italy without a stop in beautiful Venice. The cobblestone streets and stunning canals are straight out of a movie set and there is awe inspiring architecture on every corner. Head to St Mark's Square to enjoy live music and a coffee at one of the many outside tables. Have antipasti at sunset on a quiet corner of the city and make sure to sample gelato at one of the many tempting spots. The unforgettable canal rides are a fun tourist memory and we loved the tiny boutiques selling locally made glass souvenirs. The streets are all pedestrian friendly which makes it great for those traveling with kids. A great choice for couples or families looking to see a true slice of Italy.

The hidden space near Venice's St. Mark's Square - the world's most beautiful book
visitors to Venice will definitely come to the world-famous attraction St. Mark's Square, but you may not know that there is a hidden in the alley near the square. Fan Bookstore, the owner will also call it the "world's most beautiful bookstore"

2. The small hallway on the side of the bookstore has a wall with a book piled up. It feels like a secret passage that can cross the magical world
3 Another corner of the bookstore There is a door connected to the river outside, and the door is still stopped for the tourist to take pictures. hh/4 There are many small corners in the bookstore waiting for you to dig ~ such as the bosss side-killing cat bookstore Gondola used to put books and so on.
The boss really took a lot of thoughts on the decoration. Its no wonder that the brand of the most beautiful bookstore in the world that can be confidently hung at the door is not the most beautiful in the world. If it is said that the most beautiful bookstore in Italy should be Nothing wrong~

Scorpio! I even missed the travel of Venice! Quickly make up ~
Water City Venice is one of the most desirable destinations for tourists. The busy land and water can not help but sigh the uniqueness of this city.
[by boat tip]
said that Venice is complicated by boat, but it is not at all! Buy a n-day ticket according to your own days of play, don't rush to do the Raiders, because there are many unexpected situations or temporary adjustments in the itinerary, then the route you have in advance may not be the fastest and most convenient route. The free way to learn to be flexible, the simplest and most rude way is to open the google map, enter the starting point and destination, the current optimal route has ~ can be accurate to the next boat when to ~
[accommodation]
It is most convenient to live near the main island train station, otherwise the bridges are too tossing for tourists with luggage.

The essence of the Renaissance, the only city in the world without cars - Venice
Venice is a famous tourist and industrial city in northeastern Italy, known for its beautiful environment, architecture, and art collections.
Venice is made up of 118 small islands, with canals as streets and boats as transportation. It is known as "born of water, beautiful because of water, and prosperous because of water," and enjoys the reputation of "water city," "water city," and "city of a hundred islands."
Venice is the essence of the Renaissance, the only city in the world without cars. First, take a ferry to the main island of Venice, visit St. Mark's Square, the center of Venice's political, religious, and traditional public activities, then visit St. Mark's Basilica, a classic of Venetian architecture, see the Bridge of Sighs, the Doge's Palace, and then take a gondola through the water alleys of Venice, and finally take a yacht to see the Golden Waterway of Venice, a multi-faceted understanding of the water city.
Venice is also the birthplace of opera, and its unique cultural atmosphere and artistic style have had a profound impact on Europe and the world.

A Journey to Venice: A Trip Filled with Joy and Surprises
On a sunny morning, we embarked on our journey to Venice. As the plane landed, we looked out the window and were immediately captivated by the city built on water, with its countless winding canals and weathered historical buildings. It was like a dreamlike island, as if it had leaped out from a painting.
Upon arriving in the city center, our first stop was the famous St. Mark's Square. Walking through it, the ancient St. Mark's Basilica and the Campanile gave us a strong sense of history. Bands played cheerful music in the square, and pigeons frolicked around us, making it feel like the entire square was our stage. I couldn't help but sit down, listening to the music while enjoying the cool and sweet taste of Italian gelato.
Next, we took a ride on Venice's famous gondola, drifting through the canals. The gondolier softly hummed Italian folk songs as a gentle breeze blew, and the colorful houses reflected in the water, creating a beautiful watercolor painting. In such a gentle atmosphere, time seemed to pass unnoticed, and we felt like we had entered a fairytale world.
In Venice, the Rialto Bridge is a must-see. This magnificent stone bridge connects both sides of the Grand Canal, offering stunning views from the top. We also tasted delicious local seafood in the small alleys near the bridge. In a cozy family restaurant, the owner warmly chatted with us, sharing his love for Venice and cooking. This sense of friendliness made us feel that this trip was not just sightseeing but also an exchange between people.
In the afternoon, we visited Murano, the glass island, to explore its glass-making craftsmanship. Watching the artisans manipulate the flames like magic in the workshop was astonishing. Seeing an ordinary piece of glass transform into a beautiful artwork was truly impressive. We even tried our hand at making small glass ornaments, and although our skills were rough, it was a lot of fun.
As night fell, we walked back to our hotel, finding Venice even more enchanting in the evening. The small lights along the canals twinkled, reflecting on the water, creating a serene and beautiful scene. When we returned to the hotel and lay down with a sense of fulfillment from the day, it seemed we could still hear the sound of the waves lapping against the canal banks.
Every day in Venice was a new discovery. This city is not only a convergence of the past and the present but also a journey that touches the heart. We left with our hearts full of memories and a deep affection for this city on water, knowing that we would return to such beauty again.
This is Venice, a city that enchants the heart. I hope everyone who comes here can find their own little happiness in the whispers of the canals.
