Tegalalang rice terrace and Tegenungan waterfall are really a must see attraction when in Ubud. Both were great places for beautiful, breathtaking instagrammable photos! Just keep in mind that there are plenty of stairs to climb up/down. Well, no pain no gain. Gotta work off all the extra calories from the yummy Balinese cuisines too!

Attractions - The Tegenungan Waterfall is a very popular spot with locals and tourists as it is fairly close to the city, just 10km outside Ubud. This is a super touristy and busy waterfall, be prepared you will see the crowded when you reach this beautiful waterfall. It needs a long walk down to the waterfall, approximately 200 steps up and down to arrive there.

Along the way, we discovered complimentary photo spots. The trail was an exciting adventure, leading us down to the waterfall's embrace and back up its steep incline. 🍃 Surrounded by lush greenery, the waterfall's inviting waters welcomed us for a swim. While not the largest, Tegenungan's charm is undeniable, offering a genuine connection with nature. Tegenungan Waterfall is situated at the village of Kemenuh Village on the Petanu River in the Gianyar Regency. It is one of the most popular waterfalls in Bali for both locals and tourists as it is close to the city. It is also probably the busiest since it is super easy to reach from Ubud. We went here after visiting temples around Ubud ~ In my humble opinion, I would say it is well worth a visit. If you are just around the area, it wouldn't hurt to check this out. Tegenungan waterfall is one of the most frequently visited waterfall attractions in Bali. It’s a little bit off the beaten track so we hired a driver to transport us there for greater convenience. Although there was only one waterfall there, it was very majestic. We had to walk down quite a long flight of stairs to get to the base. Get ready to be splashed by the waters as you pose for a photo at the waterfall base. Worth a shot! Getting There -The best way to get here is probably by renting a motorbike or hiring a driver. A taxi will be quite expensive and you would have to pay a fee to the driver for waiting as well.There are many motorbike rental services in Bali with a range of motorbike rental prices of around Rp 100,000 – Rp 200,000 / 24 hours a day. If you're staying in Ubud it's very easy to get here early, and it's just a 15-30 minutes ride from central Ubud. Attractions - Aside from the waterfalls you can also enjoy the Tegenungan Waterfall Swing. It has a beautiful view of the waterfall background. Hotels - Nothing to worry about hotels in Ubud since it is a popular tourist destination. There are lots of options depends on your budget. The perfect place with the family...Tegenungan Waterfall. I could spend all day here..just to soak in the positive energy. The sound of the waterfall is so thereupatic! You can swim, explore around or just marvel at the creation of God. Pack a good picnic basket..relax and enjoy with family or friends or just by yourself. Defintely a must visit place in bali.

One of the best waterfall spots in Bali is the Tegenungan Waterfall amidst the Balinese jungle. The force of the waterfall makes it look incredibly majestic. When the weather is good, people are allowed to swim at the base of the waterfall. There are also lots of places to take nice photos. Toilets are also available. There are about 150+ stairs to climb down to the falls, so do take note if you’re traveling with young children or elderly. Do come early too, as this is a very popular tourist spot. It is located at the Tegenungan Kemenuh village, although the waterfall is isolated it has become a popular tourist attraction. It is one of the few waterfalls in Bali that is not situated in highlands or mountainous territory which make it easy to access. There is an entrance fee of 12,000 IDR per pax required to enter the waterfall.

Tegenungan Waterfall is one of the famous waterfall in Bali. It is near the Ubud. If you want to escape the heat and cool off, this place is a paradise for you. To come here, you go down the stairs with the east, don't forget to take a nice photo at the photo spot on the way. If you want to avoid the crowds, I suggest you come to the bar in the morning so you can enjoy it better. I used a motorcycle on the way here, it took about 25 minutes to get here from the center of ubud. Waterfalls! Waterfalls! One of the best recommended spots in Bali or particularly in Ubud is the astonishing waterfalls they can offer to anyone who loved splashing cold water. And one of them is the TEGENUNGAN WATERFALL and the splashing water really amazed me during our visit. The coldness of the water isnt much high or you wont be freezing unlike the other natural spring water that will scared you to swim or get. But this one is really recommended for its natural and not so cold water and you cant help your self to get wet and swim. They do have entrance i think its around 10KIDR not much sure coz i forgot it already. They have also infinity pool which is you need to pay also some entrance fee in order to use the pool. We didnt try the pool coz were running out of time and we still have other activities to do on that day. its a solid 7/10 for me coz the water isnt that much clear. #travelerstop #bali #closetonature

Day 2 We got a tour guide, through a Klook, klook is my number one go to finding deals. Took us to different waterfalls 😍😍. Included hotel transfers and entrance to the waterfalls. Travelling while plus size is so difficult 😩😩 the amount of stairs I had to climb to get to the waterfalls 💧. I am getting a gym membership 😭
