This is also the "work spot" for the Queen of Tears 🎀
Most of the popup store limited stores are on the B1 and B2 floors! Featured brands include: Tamburins, Emis, Matin Kim, etc. The B1 floor is also a gathering place for restaurants and cafes, and the popular Cafe Layered is even more popular. The London Bagel Museum will be opened at the end of 2024 🤣 It’s really an exaggeration!

We had a quick meal at Dowon Style on the 6th floor of The Hyundai Seoul. The entrance was so cool that I couldn't help but take a picture of Dowon Style^^ It was a feast for the eyes and mouth while tasting the gorgeous visual menus, from truffle-flavored Jjajangmyeon, lobster Jjamppong, tonmahawk tangsuyuk, and barbecue fried rice^^ The kids also enjoyed it😊

Oh to spend Christmas in Seoul... ✨
The festive holiday is all about spending time intimately with loved ones, whether friends or family. I'm super happy to say that my very first Christmas in Korea topped all my other Christmases spent in my home country. 🥰

This year, The Hyundai Seoul transforms into "La Boutique d’Harry,” inspired by a story where a grandpa was able to reunited with his family once again in a dream. Home to lavish brands and famous eateries, The Hyundai Seoul is one of Seoul's latest mall. It offers a wide range of luxury brands for high end shopping! You can also bask in nature with the many indoor trees, and take selfies at many selfie spots in the mall.
The mall is designed to have larger pathways for easier walking, and the building is also heavily forest-inspired. You'll realize it when you walk around the space and bask in both nature and natural sunlight coming from the roof.
They also frequently have food pop ups, but what's interesting is that they have k-pop pop ups too! Most recently, there was a New Jeans pop up store selling exclusive products!

Layered cafe is a franchise that is popular in South Korea for its pastries and its ambience. The one I visited is at Hyundai Seoul, one of the newest malls in Seoul. The mall is packed with eateries with a lot of choices to choose from.
Layered is one of the most unique concepts that I have seen among all the korean cafe. The cakes are all out in the open for you to slice and take the piece that you like. the atmosphere and how the food is being displayed gives it a very "european style homely vibe" where I could bring my friends here to chill over some cakes and coffee.

I went to the Teresa photo exhibition at The Hyundai Seoul recently! It might have changed to a different exhibition by now~:) Check out The Hyundai Seoul's exhibition schedule and pay a visit.
Oh, and the famous restaurant there has an extremely long waiting list. 😢 I recommend reserving ahead of time through the app and exploring the area before heading there. If the waiting time is reasonable, then it's the perfect time to visit!
As for me, I used a little trick to get in without waiting. Shh... 🤫

For lunch, I had the chicken pad thai and tom yum noodles.
The pad thai? Phenomenal. The portion size was satisfying, and the flavor was on a whole new level. It’s easily the best pad thai I’ve ever had in my life. 🥹💯
The tom yum noodles were good, classic and comforting, but the pad thai completely stole the show. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor. You absolutely must try it. 🙌

I successfully got tickets for The Hyundai Christmas, which runs until Christmas on December 25th.
It had a different theme than last year, but this year's theme was circus!
It was a bit of a circus theme, so the atmosphere in each photo zone was similar,

I visited The Hyundai Christmas Market, decorated in a Christmas circus style.
It is located on the 5th floor, and you need to make a reservation in advance to visit.
The 1st and 2nd rounds are over, and the 3rd round will be a reservation event in December.
You can make a reservation by time slot, and this year, the number of people was adjusted compared to last year,
so there were fewer people than expected by time slot.
So it was nice to have more time to take pictures.

Getting to The Hyundai Seoul from Seoul Station is very simple. Take Line 1 from Seoul Station and transfer to Line 5 at City Hall Station, then get off at Yeouido Station. When using public transportation, it is most convenient to use Yeouido Station on Line 5 or Line 9. If you are driving, you can use the underground parking lot, where the first 30 minutes are free, and then a parking fee of 2,000 KRW per 10 minutes applies.
The Hyundai Seoul is more than just a shopping space; it is a lifestyle complex cultural space. It boasts a massive scale, extending from 7 floors underground to 8 floors above ground, with impressive indoor landscaping and nature-friendly space design. Each floor has uniquely themed rest areas where you can relax between shopping. Especially notable is the 'Sounds Forest' on the first basement floor, a space that reinterprets the concept of an indoor garden, which is loved by many visitors.
What impressed me the most during my visit was the Christmas Pavilion set up as a pop-up store. It tends to be crowded on weekends, so if you want to look around leisurely, I recommend visiting on weekdays. Additionally, with various gourmet restaurants in the basement food court and the rooftop relaxation area, it is a place where you won't get bored even if you stay all day. However, during peak seasons or weekends, the parking lot can be very crowded, so it is advisable to use public transportation if possible.

I went to the Christmas market in Hyundai Seoul because it was so crowded that I could only take pictures. There were so many people lining up for the photo booths and other exhibits, it was really tough.
🎄I went on a Sunday🎄
✔︎I got a numbered ticket for the day at 11am
✔︎I was supposed to enter at 13:20, but I negotiated with the staff and was allowed to enter at 18:00
✔︎I hung out in the Hongdae area during the day
✔︎I came back at 18:00 and entered, but it was so crowded that I couldn't do anything
✔︎I just took pictures and left in about 30 minutes
✔︎I bought some prepared food in the basement of a department store in Hyundai Seoul and ate it at the hotel
