#wheretogo Westin Desaru Coast is a 5 star hotel located in Bandar Penawar Johor . its a beach front resort with 270 rooms and above and it come with a conference center . the hotel best suite for the honeymooner or for corporate family day. the room is so nice as the bath tub with a sea view inside your room. not to mention the heavenly bed , is so comfortable. hardly to get out form bed in the morning. the bath tub is huge and nice and come with bath salt , if you do not have it in your room you can always request from the house keeping. the room come with a lavender oil it smell so good and calm you during your sleeping time. there is a beach bar at the beach and the breakfast area was huge and with wide range of food inside the coffee house . if you wanted to stay in Westin Desaru suggest you to go for SEA VIEW room, it’s really amazing 🤩. 👍🏻 #freehotelstay #hotel #johor #desaru #desarucoast #malaysia

if you want to always from the city for beach escape , Westin Desaru Coast Is one of the best hotel. It’s resort near to the beach , breakfast was perfect in the morning . There is DIY roti Bakar available too. SPA is very luxury and relaxing according to them this is their second outlet for Marriot Spa. You may need to try once when you are here . Ofcos the price is not cheap tho. The beach is clean and safe to play by the beach. There is one beach club available too, you can order food and snack by the beach . There are on going renovation at the lawn area , they view might be affected during the stay. The Westin famous heavenly bed make you just stay inside the room, perfect getaway for short trip or staycation or Healing. Tucked away in a corner right by the entrance to Westin Desaru resort, this lobby bar is a cosy space to grab a nice drink or a quick snack! There may not be a lot of seats here but guests can always take away their orders and sit in the large lobby itself, both are equally comfortable. I enjoyed a hot cup of cappuccino while gazing out at the rainy weather, it was such a mood. The atmosphere felt very tranquil too as it wasn’t very crowded and the interior was modern. As we visited during the Christmas season, there were festive decorations put up, including an incredibly tall Christmas tree! Probably one of the better resort in Desaru. Westin Desaru Coast had a nice warm front desk staff that process your check in smoothly. We arrived ahead of check in time, was told that once the rooms are ready, they will drop me a WhatsApp. While doing waiting around in the lobby for rooms to be ready, the staff came out with welcome drink, ice cream and balloons for everyone. Rooms were big in size, comes with a king size bed bigger than usual. Room is clean, toilet comes with a huge bathtub. They even provide lavender roll on to promote better sleep. Buffet breakfast spread was huge but do be early to avoid crowd. Overall a recommended stay for everyone.

We took a 3 day 2 night short trip to Desaru during the weekdays, and stayed at The Westin Desaru Coast Resort this time. I guess we chose the right week or days to travel in, seems like they’ve got low occupancy rate (probably lull period), we got upgraded to a sea view room instead of the garden view room. Room comes with a bathtub and a separate bath area. Room is cosy and spacious. PS: They do have basement parking available at the hotel, but it’s chargeable RM5 per night stay. You will need to validate your touch and go card upon check in. A short 2 days 1 night workcation at this hotel. It took us 1 hour to reach from Johor Senai International Airport. Taxi charges is about RM160 for 2 pax. Ambiance/Facilities - Well equipped & great hygiene. Highlights - The beach is just 5 minutes walkable distance from the hotel lobby. Beach facilities were shared among The Westin & Hard Rock Hotel. Ramadhan buffet dinner was served with a varieties of local & international delights. Food was finger-licking good. Avg. Price per Person - RM650++ Rating - 4/5

We had an amazing stay at Westin Desaru. Everything was seamless from check in to check out. All the staffs were very nice and efficient :) the breakfast buffet was the highlight for us, they had a big variety and everything tasted so good. I enjoyed the room as it was very spacious and cozy! Also, we had a wonderful dinner at the Beach Bar with sunset view. Although the price a bit pricy but i worth it! Most expensive resort in Desaru - but value for money is tip top. Service is good - got private beach. The only setback is my room not facing the sea. had our wonderful staycation at Westin Desaru! located exactly in a middle of Desaru and straight access to the beach. what we liked most is specious room with beach view balcony and super cozy bed! breakfast was amazing with really good selections and varieties of food!

Getting There - family trip by car from JB. It took us around 50 minutes to go there. Attractions - Private beach, elegant room, beautiful scenery, kids play room. Hotels - The Westin Desaru Food & Restaurants - Ramadan Buffet by chef adu. Many varieties of food such as satay, Nasi beryani, Laksa, mee bandung and many more.

Loving westin desaru new pool. We had waited quite awhile for this, we visited a few times and was under construction. The new pool was designed with alot of nature in mind, being surrounded by trees and comfortable seats. There was also a children pool that was a low height for kids to play. Overall the ambience was amazing and relaxing. Being on the beach front we could also step right out from hotel and 2 mins walk to the beach. The sand was comfortable to sit and walk on. Westin also provided towels and toys for kids. It was a lovely stay and our family enjoyed every moment at Westin Desaru. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Westin Desaru in Johor, Malaysia has finally completed their brand new swimming pool facility which has a few shallow pools perfect for kids and a nice long pool suitable for adults. Brand new restaurant available too by the poolside. Service from hotel staff is at a good level, always smiling and ready to assist.
