Osaka, Japan | Must-visit attraction "Tsutenkaku"
#Great Places in September 2024
📝Send photos of Tsutenkaku Tower at night and daytime at once. I think the scenery in the morning and evening has its own merits. You can take pictures during the day at 3 or 4 pm, then go to Tsutenkaku Tower for a while, and then come down to have dinner nearby and take pictures at night. Tickets for Tsutenkaku Tower It’s about $52 Hong Kong dollars. It’s very convenient to buy it directly on a trip, or you can buy the Osaka Amazing Pass, which also includes an entry coupon, and it’s free! Share it with everyone who travels to Osaka~

Day 1
1) Get on the plane in the early morning and get off the plane in the morning
Kansai Airport store picks up the car first (advance reservation required)
First stop: drive there from the airport
Kyoto 》Arashiyama Estimated driving time ~ 2 hours
(Small train departs from Arashiyama Station at 11:05 and returns at 11:30)
The little train is so flavorful
Then take the car and go to Oha Shrine in 10 minutes

Then it takes 20 minutes to drive to Kinkakuji Temple. The place is not too big, but it is definitely worth visiting for photography.
Day2
Kyoto>~Car ride~50mins
1) Nara Park, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, (Kaki no Shoten, Higashikata Shopping Street, Konishi Shopping Street, Daibutsu Budian, Nakatanido Mochi)
Generally, shops finish work relatively early, so it can be done in one day.
Day 3
1) The ride to Katsuoji Temple is about 35 minutes
2) Osaka Castle, about 40 minutes by car
3) Return the car immediately after landing in Osaka, because it is much more convenient to take the train in the city
4) Tsutenkaku Tower
5) Kuroge Market
6) Shinsaibashi
7) Dinner (omakase @Sushi Takuma) requires a reservation and the price is affordable
Day 4
Miyama, Ine, Amanohashidate one-day tour
Although it is far from the city, the scenery is picturesque.

Who says there's no nightlife in Japan when you can have fun in Osaka at night
When I traveled to Japan, one thing that shocked me was that the shops in Japan really close early, and the streets are basically deserted after nine o'clock (especially in ancient cities like Kyoto)🥲 Tokyo and Osaka, the big cities, are relatively better, but the nightlife is not as rich and colorful as I imagined💔 This note tells you where you can go to play in Osaka at night~
1⃣️Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori, this is one of the busiest night markets in Osaka, with food, shopping, and shops all available🍢 It can be said to be the largest and most complete shopping place! And there are many anime check-in places hehe😁 The super famous Glico Man sign is also in Dotonbori oh🙈
2⃣️Umeda Hep Five, there are Ferris wheels and many izakayas here, as well as some large shopping malls, which are also good places to experience Osaka nightlife🎡 If Dotonbori is more down-to-earth, then the Umeda business district will be relatively high-end, with all major luxury stores gathered~
3⃣️Universal Studios Osaka, the movie city is more atmospheric at night~ Especially the world of Harry Potter🌍
4️⃣Tsutenkaku, also one of the landmarks of Japan, you can see the colorful Osaka city at night. Coming to Tsutenkaku, it's like stepping into an anime, everything is as beautiful as a comic❤️
Of course~ In addition to the above famous landmarks and attractions, you can also choose a bar, invite three or five friends to chat and drink, and experience your own Osaka nightlife🍷

Shinsekai, Osaka’s Most Unique Neighbourhood
#wheretogo
I chanced upon the Shinsekai area of Osaka where the famous Tsutenkaku Tower is on my way to Tennoji Zoo, which was just a short walk away. The Tsutenkaku Tower is one of the main attractions in the area with over 100 years of history. Unfortunately as I was short on time, I didn’t get to go up the tower as the queues were long. I did however explore the rest of the neighbourhood and it was so unlike the usual parts of Osaka that we see. This place has a very unique charm, almost like an old school sort of atmosphere with quirky signages and decor. There are a bunch of colourful, eye- catching eateries and shops along the street. There are also many old school games stores dotted around which were surprisingly fun. The brightly coloured stores attracted the attention of my daughter who enjoyed herself tremendously with all the games I used to play as a kid. It brought back lots of nostalgic memories. Shinsekai is also a well known place to have Kushikatsu, a style of deep fried food unique to the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the visit to this area. Do come to this underrated place in Osaka that not many visit and be surprised as well. I highly recommend going at night as the tower and streets would be all lighted up beautifully.

Let me tell you about the Osaka Amazing Pass!
#OsakaTravel
✔ Transportation in Japan is expensive,
so I can't even dream of taking a taxi..(I do)
I use buses and subways a lot,
but if you have a gas pass, you don't have to calculate the money every time,
and you can use it much more cheaply.
✔ With a gas pass, you can visit Dotonbori,
and see Tsutenkaku, Umeda, and Namba.
✔ Since it's electronic, you just need to insert the issued gas pass into the ticket gate and you're done.
✔ You can enter many tourist attractions such as Tsutenkaku Observatory, Tempozan Ferris Wheel, Umeda HEP Five,
Dotonbori River Cruise, Osaka Castle, etc. for free.
‼️The gas pass is not valid for 24 hours from the time it is first used,
but only until the last train, no matter when it is used.
🚫 Even with a 2-day pass, you can only visit tourist attractions once
🤑 Gas pass price
1-day pass 2,800 yen
2-day pass 3,600 yen

Tsutenkaku is worth visiting
It turns out that Tsutenkaku New World is a lot of fun and shopping, and there is also a whole street for eating fried food. Speaking of this Japanese fried food, this time I feel that you know what you ordered, but when it is served to the table, it is like opening a blind They are like boxes, all the same, I really don’t know where they come from if I don’t eat them, hahaha 😆 They all taste good. In fact, you don’t have to queue up to eat at the restaurants recommended online, it’s a waste of time! It’s also very crowded on weekends, so it’s a great place for family days when students are on vacation!

Tsutenkaku's New Tower Slide
Visit because there is a slide that wasn't there before!
As expected, Tsutenkaku Street has a Japanese feel and is great ♥️
If you go during opening hours, you can use both the slide and the observatory without waiting!
It's a cut that takes less than a minute from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor, so it's a breeze!
I thought it would be scary, but if you scream and ride, you'll find yourself enjoying it!
It's great because you can use it for free with a gas pass👍🏻
You can also download the video for free.
(There are videos only for the riding part and the arrival part, and I burst out laughing watching the random videos in the middle ㅋㅋㅋ)
If you use the slide, I recommend using it during opening hours so that there is no waiting!

Pretty fun area to stroll around and the tower itself is worth a visit as the view from the top repays the entry fee. It also contains a lot of Glico history and products to purchase plus the obligatory capsule toy vending machine arcade.

Gregory House in Osaka, Japan, must not be missed.
Follow the navigation all the way to Tongtiange. It takes about ten minutes. Its quite close. I used a little time to come to the day in the morning. The club has a card. In addition to buying and buying, you have to take a look at Jinger

Osaka is a must-see for everyone to come to Kansai. There are not only Universal Studios, attractions such as the Castle Tower, but also ramen noodles, bird-baked food and a variety of buy and sell drugstores
I like the New World and Tongtiange most. It is very lively, with exaggerated shops, famous bird burning, puffer fish and the like, and the distant Tongtian Pavilion is the scene that appears in Conan.
Although the Japanese are rushing and busy, but in this cozy atmosphere, busyness is only part of life.

We all know Japan's name about East Kansai. If the most famous city in Kanto, Japan, is Tokyo, then the most famous city in Kansai, Japan, must be Osaka.
Osaka is the largest city in Kansai, Japan, and is the center of Japanese economic, trade, and culture. As Japan's second largest city and an important industrial and commercial city, the economy is certainly particularly developed. Plus, because it is a famous historical city, it also makes Osaka very popular. Many people choose to travel to Osaka. Here, you can not only feel the same bustling as Tokyo, but you can also experience the feeling of being different from Tokyo.

Overview
Tsutenkaku Tower, located in the Shinsekai district of Osaka, is a symbol of the city’s resilience and modernity. Originally built in 1912, the tower was inspired by the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. After being destroyed by fire in 1943, it was rebuilt in 1956 and now stands 103 meters tall
Getting There
By Train: The easiest way to reach Tsutenkaku is by taking the Osaka Metro. Get off at Ebisucho Station on the Sakaisuji Line, and it’s just a short walk from there.
By Bus: Several bus routes also service the Shinsekai area, making it accessible from various parts of Osaka.
What to See and Do
Golden Observatory (5th Floor): At 87.5 meters high, this observatory offers stunning panoramic views of Osaka. It’s a great spot for photography enthusiasts to capture the city’s skyline.
Light Observatory (4th Floor): This floor features a unique light display and interactive exhibits, perfect for a fun and educational experience.
Billiken Shrine: Located within the tower, this shrine is dedicated to Billiken, the “God of Things As They Ought to Be.” Rubbing the feet of the Billiken statue is said to bring good luck.

Conan didn't lie to me! Osaka really escaped from anime. If you like Conan as much as I do, you must come to Osaka, the city of anime. There are not only scenes in Conan's anime, but also neon signs and snacks all over the street. Today, we sorted out three days and two nights of Osaka tourism attack~DAYO: Nambobaba Shrine - Osaka City Park - Osaka History Museum - Shinsaibashi Daotonbori - DAY2: Tongtian Pavilion, a Taiping and Praying Tower, an Abeno Observatory DAY Ô: Osaka Universal Studios, a return trip to Osaka for three days The attack of the two night trip can be taken in Osaka. This is the place of anime of Osaka Cartoon. The reason is that the same type of clocking place of Conan Animation is very beautiful both in the daytime and at night. There are not only classic Greego and neon sign villains here, but also cruise ships passing by. It can be said that this is the place of Erxinzhai Bridge in Osaka (Figure 3-6) that must be clocked for shooting~
