My destination this time is Hangzhou, and I am at Xiang Lake Freedom Manor. Walking to the window, I can see the green Xiang Lake. I chose to come to Hangzhou to experience this unique tranquility and comfort. I chose to stay at Xiang Lake Freedom Manor. Here, it is away from the dust but not the city, hidden from the world but not far from the world. Xiang Lake Freedom Manor is located in Xiang Lake National Tourism Resort, and its unique geographical location and architectural style attracted me. During the day, you can choose to take a boat tour of Xiang Lake. The boat is on the water, and the surrounding mountains and rivers seem to become agile. Whenever the boat passes a small island or a stone bridge, I feel a poetic picture. When the setting sun is on the lake, the golden light makes Xiang Lake more charming. After nightfall, I chose to stroll by Xiang Lake. Watching a live performance "Xiang Lake Ya Yun" in Xiang Lake opened up another side of this landscape for me. In this quiet night, listening to the sound of water, the sound of wind, and the sound of opera, it is intoxicating. I felt this unique charm and poetry of Xiang Lake. Xianghu is known as the sister lake of West Lake. Everything surrounding the lake was incredibly stunning! Lush green plants, flowers, sporadic pavilions, bridges and the mountains! The scenic area is huge! What to do at XiangHu 👇🏼 ➡️ Walk around the lake and over the bridges to explore different corners 🌳🕊💐 ➡️ A boat ride on the lake 🛶 As the lake is big, a boat ride allows you to have a look at different parts surrounding the lake 🤗✨ ➡️ Have a picnic 🧺 I saw many people having picnics, some had tents set up and others were chilling on their mats by the lake while snacking. ➡️ Take pictures 📸 Unlimited opportunities to have great photos there! 💐🌿🌼🍃 ➡️ Fly a kite 🪁 I saw kids having fun flying theirs. ➡️ Ride a bike around the lake! 🚲 It wasn’t easy to spot shared bikes around but some people were enjoying it especially on a warm sunny day! I didn’t feel so tired even after more than an hour of city walk. It feels like if we don’t go out and experience it, Hangzhou will cool down a lot. Xianghu feels quieter than West Lake and is more suitable for enjoying life. There are also many people from around who come to picnic and camp, with a strong sense of life, and to take photos. The light hitting the yellow and red leaves is really beautiful, and it feels even better to the naked eye. It is recommended to take a bike from Exit C of Xianghu Station of the subway, or you can also walk. Xianghu Lake is very big, so it’s nice to walk slowly.

However, when I arrived at the Lotus Pavilion, a well-known lotus viewing spot at Xiang Lake, before 7 o'clock, the sun was already high in the sky. Looking eastward, I couldn't even open my eyes due to the strong light, so I could only shoot with the light.
