Xingcheng Confucian Temple (top).
Xingcheng Confucian Temple, also known as the Temple of Confucius, is located in Xingcheng City, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. It was built in the fifth year of Xuande in the Ming Dynasty (1430 AD) and is one of the oldest Confucian temples in the three northeastern provinces. The Confucian Temple covers an area of 16,800 square meters and is divided into inner and outer courtyards. The inner courtyard includes the Lingxing Gate, Panqiao, Jimen, Dacheng Hall, Chongsheng Temple, Sacrificial Utensil Library, Dressing Pavilion, Xiangxian Temple, Minghuan Temple and other buildings, while the outer courtyard is mainly green. The Confucian Temple is not only a place to worship Confucius, but also an important cultural heritage in the ancient city of Xingcheng, reflecting a strong historical and cultural atmosphere.
