2024 Provo Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in December)

My friends in the BYU advertising program asked me to help with a photo shoot for Carhartt WIP. The theme was camp and the location the chose was seven miles up the trail in the opposite direction of the overlook. It was raining at first but the second half of the day was clear. There were beautiful birch trees and the view of the mountains was incredible. There were also rolling hills that were breathtaking. It was a great opportunity to get some fresh air. It was really muddy but for the most part it was a great and unforgettable adventure. Utah Lake in Salt Lake City is a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. I saw people picnicking and boating on the beach all day long. The water quality is a bit poor, so it's not recommended to swim. There are many lake insects in the summer evenings and occasionally in the mornings, which can sometimes be unbearable. They mainly appear during warm weather, so keep that in mind. This is a state park, so an entrance fee is required. I often run to the lakeside and find the visit very enjoyable!
