#myitinerary It got me thinking - what would it be like to cross into Thailand from Satun instead of the usual Padang Besar route. So first : Satun Immigration is small and not busy on weekdays. The process was so smooth and before you knew it, you had already crossed into the Wangprachan Boundary. Yeay ! I was so delighted to see quite a number of food stalls by the boundary post selling halal local foods but then I was even more captivated by the stunning hills and lush greenery that I missed my chance to grab a bite. Sigh ! Soon after, my local driver arrived and we embarked on the three-hour journey from Satun to Hatyai. The drive felt like a hidden adventure, winding through quaint villages and stunning landscapes. #satun #pakbara #urbanexplorer #summer

#beachlife You can take your own longtail taxi boat from any beach on Koh Lipe to the Jabang Channel, just northwest of the island. There're ropes laid out in the sea and it's important to stick to them as there's an immensely strong current that goes here. Ask the boat driver where the best pink corals are. If there are many tourists, then wait for your turn, it's worth it. On the same tour you can do snorkeling at Koh Rawi and Koh Adang.

Ao Talo Wao is at the east of Ko Tarutao. The little island is an impressive limestone with a pier next to it. This pier extends about 50 over meters to the sea. No chalets at this bay but you can certainly rent a tent and camp for the night there’s a historic trail which will lead you to old political prison built way back before the 2nd world war serene and clean place to chill! #thai national park #andamansea #limestone

Very popular Thai coffee brand. Owned by PTT, Cafe Amazon brands can be found in most PTT petrol stations. Modestly priced branded coffee in Thailand. Modest quantity per serving, fine based on price. We visited many Cafe Amazon's throughout Thailand and each visit was delightful and easy. Many staff spot little English, but we were still able to communicate orders easily and with success. The coffees were delicious and very reasonably priced.Also available at Cafe Amazon outlets in Thailand are a few snacks including chips, nuts etc. Cafe Amazon makes the best Cappuccino’s!! Wherever they are I seek them out, and they are consistently better than the big brands that are so hugely overpriced! During the dry season, there is daily ferry service to the park from Thammalang near Satun town, and from Pak Bara port further up the coast. To the north of Thale Ban lies the Koh Phetra National Marine Park, whose islets are rarely visited by tourists, with the exception of Koh Bulon Lae, which has a good selection of private bungalow complexes on a long and beautiful beach. there are a lot of beautiful places and kind ppl. It is wuite difficult to go there as we have to fly to Hadyai and take 3 hours ride to get the boat and then take a big while to arrive the island. Transfer in Bangkok to Hat Yai, 100 minutes by car to the pier, 100 minutes by boat to the island, Remember to buy the big boat, the ticket may be a bit more expensive, The small boat can give you a roller coaster experience, The big boat is very stable. There are monkeys on the mountains on the island, Crabs on the rocks, Sea cucumbers in the sea, And countless hermit crabs on the beach. Ice smoothie for 12 baht, Pizza for 60 baht, beer for 12. A pot of Tom Yum Goong for only 90. Isn't the free performance great? You might consider giving a tip. Charter a boat, go fishing, snorkeling, island hopping, Safe and heartwarming.
