My friend and I booked a carpooling service using the app “dida” from Jinhua. It took us an hour and a half to get to the destination. We paid 108 rmb for the entrance ticket for 2 people. From the entrance there is a tourist train to take visitors to the main attractions.This place is perfect for instagramable photos. There are various places and things to do here. Wuyi’s travel highlight - bamboo rafting. The 9.5km long Nine-bend River rafting takes about 1.5 – 2 hours, with its flowing water winding along the majestic Wuyi mountains for 9 twists, hence the name of Nine-bend River Stream. Tianyou peak brings you to a heavenly and majestic view. The steps are very narrow and steep. Once the trail has started, there’s no turning back but it is absolutely a worthy climb experience. Make sure to bring a bottle of water if you’ll climb to the peak. We went here for a Christmas vacay and so the weather was perfect. #couplestrip #wuyi

Getting There - You can either take the train from Shanghai to Wuyi or a car/bus. 🚄 Attractions - Wuyi had amazing hiking trails and many waterfalls. 🥾 It was a wet and cold morning but nothing was going to stop me from a little hiking. The hike has many stairs and it’s fairly safe. The views are amazing and really breathe taking. ⛰ When you finally reach the top you can see the view from a glass bridge, if you’re looking to leave escape the big City this is the perfect place to get a little reboot. 🌉 I would suggest going with a tour group to do the hike or with a group that you see at the location. Mount Wuyi is located in Whyishan area of Fujian District. It’s a Easy hike and can be reached by High Speed and normal trains. Tickets need to taken for entry in the Mountain area. There are many areas in the Mountain and can be explored by mountain provided Buses which are free.
