Hanoi 1998 Restaurant
#europetrip
🎐 located on the island of the city, near the new bridge, the place is super cute and the presentation of the dishes is very neat 🥺 the location + the price + the decoration may explain the higher prices than there 🤔 in any case, it's more "chic" than the "lambdas" phở and the service, when I was there, was overwhelmed but adorable!
🍜 we came for the phở 💁🏻♀️ and especially the price winner! the hà nội garlicky, classic broth cooked for 24 hours with a garlic flavor 🧄 the broth was frankly delicious, my favorite of the two phở, surely because it was more special 🤭 on the other hand for the meat, it was better in the phở TNT because cooked by the minute 😍 indeed, the principle of the dish is to have the broth in a hot stone pot and to add the phở (rice noodles) and the marinated raw beef which cooks instantly = best thing!!!
☕️ we also tested starters, "typical viet" coffees and other dishes! the spring rolls were too good and crispy, the same for the gỏi cuốn, with beef 👌 for the banh bao, we think there was a mistake, I don't see what recipe it was and it was little garnished which is Too bad because it was still very good! the rush certainly, I'll try again 🤷🏻♀️ for the dishes, we took the cơm xì xèo because it seemed original to us: good but peppery which is not really my style 🥲 more classic, the bò bún is super generous and again once meat at the top!
