DoubleTree Resort Penang: Your Gateway to Family Fun in the Sun

Our family getaway to Penang was filled with sunshine, smiles, and a few unexpected discoveries at the DoubleTree Resort. We settled into our spacious twin room, a perfect haven for our family. After check-in, the staff efficiently set up the comfy sofa bed for the kids, which they absolutely loved! The powerful shower was a welcome treat after long days of exploring, washing away the sand and sweat in an instant. The warm chocolate chip cookies that greeted us upon arrival were a delightful touch, setting the stage for a relaxing vacation. One of the highlights was the private bridge leading directly to Miami Beach. It felt like our own secret passage to the sea, and the kids couldn't get enough of it! However, we quickly discovered that the nearby public beaches, Ferringhi Walk and Ferringhi Bay, offered even more space, excitement, and stunning scenery. We spent many happy hours building sandcastles, splashing in the waves, and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. While the hotel's pool was clean and inviting, it was a bit smaller than we expected. This encouraged us to venture out and discover the amazing beaches nearby, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We also found ourselves pleasantly surprised by the variety of local restaurants and shops within walking distance, adding another dimension to our Penang experience. The breakfast buffet at Makan Kitchen was a satisfying start to each day, with a decent selection of both local and international favorites. While it may not have been as extensive as other DoubleTree buffets we've experienced, it certainly provided enough fuel for our adventures. Our stay at the DoubleTree Resort Penang was a reminder that sometimes, the most memorable travel moments happen when you step outside your comfort zone and embrace the unexpected. While there were a few minor quirks, like the daily parking fee and the smaller-than-anticipated pool, they were easily overshadowed by the overall positive experience. We found true relaxation at Binh Chau Hot Springs, where therapies helped us rejuvenate both physically and mentally after long workdays. It’s also family-friendly, with plenty of activities to keep children entertained. We stayed at Seava Ho Tram, a beautiful resort surrounded by nature, featuring wood, bamboo, and stone designs under a lush forest canopy, all facing the sea. Just a two-hour drive from Saigon, Ho Tram offers fresh seafood, relaxation, and fun for the whole family.

Aroma Beach Mui Ne Resort

If you're looking for a resort in the heart of Mui Ne with beautiful, clean rooms, lush green landscapes, a white sand beach, delicious food, and excellent service at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Aroma Beach Resort. I've stayed here three times, and each visit has been a truly wonderful experience. The resort is always beautifully maintained, and it feels like coming back to a familiar yet refreshed place each time. It’s a peaceful escape from the crowded streets and busy restaurants, where you can really immerse yourself in the golden sand and crystal-clear water. What I love most is the serene atmosphere and the rustic Vietnamese countryside-inspired design with thatched roofs and coconut bridges—it instantly makes me feel at home. Breakfast by the beach, with the sound of the waves, is one of my favorite moments, offering a sense of peace that stays with me throughout the day. Whether it's relaxing at the spa, taking a stroll through the lush gardens, or enjoying a BBQ with family, there's always something special to do here. We booked 3 rooms, 1 Family Connecting Seaview Suite which comprised of a Deluxe Seaview Room interconnected with a Superior Seaview Room and another One Bedroom Seaview Suite. The rooms were well appointed and there was complimentary mini bar daily. As we had a little one with us who had special dietary needs, the wide pantry was an amenity we appreciated. The kids activity room was also a great facility for those with young children. There's 2 pools, one catered for family with kids, and the other, an infinity pool beside the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was delightful. Will definitely be back again for a staycation!

#hotelreview Theres nothing not to like at Legoland Hotel. From the moment we enter the hotel lobby, we were greeted by the giant lego character. A pirate ship full of lego and and a delicious welcome drink. As we enter the elevator, after the door close, theres a music and spinning disco ball light. And the room is like a fantasy. We choose the pirate theme room and we do felt like a pirate staying in the ship. The room has seperate area for kids and adult which is a huge advantage as we can have privacy from the kids. Village Oasis by the Sea

From the moment I arrived at Pelangi Beach Resort and Spa Langkawi, I was swept away by the tropical paradise surrounding me. My beachfront room was the perfect oasis, with a spacious bathroom that included a luxurious bathtub and a walk-in closet. The internet was lightning-fast, and I had my own router in the room, which made it easy to stay connected with loved ones back home. One of the best features of my room was the comfortable sofa, which was big enough for two kids to sleep on. The balcony was my favorite spot, with stunning views of the beach and ocean that made me feel like I was living in a postcard. Pelangi Beach Resort and Spa Langkawi is more than just a hotel. It's a picturesque village, complete with charming squirrels running around that made my stay even more delightful. The staff was warm, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made me feel right at home. The resort had two restaurants, each with its unique charm. One was situated near the lobby, and the other was right on the beach. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting. The resort's swimming pools were a hit with the kids, thanks to the exciting slides that kept them entertained for hours. The buggy service was efficient, and there was even a mini zoo on the premises, although we missed out on it due to the rainy weather. In conclusion, my stay at Pelangi Beach Resort and Spa Langkawi was a tropical dream come true. The cost about RM100/way which took about 1.5 hour depends in traffic. From the jetty, the resort has their own boat to take their guest to the resort which only take about 5 minute journey from jetty to the resort. What’s best here? - The staff & the owner is very friendly and accomodating - The room is spacious, clean and new compare to other resort in Semporna which already aging. - The room balcony open up direct to the ocean - The glass window in bathroom is very nice and uniqe - The aircond is cool (rare finding in Semporna Resort) - Water pressure is good - 24 electricity - Sunset & Sunrise is so beautiful and fascinating - Activity like snorkelling, kayaking,and jetski available at cost - The on-site restaurant serve food from breakfast to dinner Tips : - Snorkel at the morning as the tide is low and the water more clear - Kayaking in the afternoon for the better photoshoot. Family vacation at Jebat Villa Janda Baik Pahang..The view is so fascinating and the surrounding is so serene with the sound of nature and waterfall..The temperature is nice ,less than 17 degree.. This hotel located beside KGPA Bukit Kiara. The location is very convenient. Easy to get public transport either by Grab or train station nearby. When we first enter the lobby, we will stunt by the modern architecture. As im booking an executive room with M Lounge benefit, the check in is very exclusive at the M Lounge. Im serve with welcome drink. Im booking the executive room with golf course view. The room located at high floor, level 8. The view is amazing. We felt like we are at another country. Its so serene. Hot tub plus amazing view. Its perfect vacation. 1 minggu yang tidak membosankan check in : 5 sept check out : 10 sept tempat yang sangat cozy , bersih , layanan superb dari semua staff di sana kami book 2 connecting room bawa total 7 family members. ada 2 pool yang berbeza. 1 pool di lobby hotel khas untuk family yang bawa kids, sesuai kerana ada water park , yang mana dari pantai pun boleh terjun pool juga lepas tu. 1 pool lagi berada di chalet garden view. yang tu agak privacy sedikit ada pool bar, ada slide juga . pool di buka sehingga 7 pm semua sisi tempat terjaga dan ada staff yg akan membantu nak pergi lobby , nak pergi breakfast,dinner semua kena call buggy tapi jangan risau, tak sampai 3-5 min mesti dah sampai, kita call malam2 nak request apa sahaja cepat staff terus sampai. even 5 star hotel lain belum tentu dapat layan sepantas itu. balcony setiap bilik sangat luas sampai anak boleh main bola dekat situ. sangat bersih. sangat menjaga keberishan every twice a week akan menjalankan proses fogging untuk halau nyamok breakfast semua sedap2. dan yang best hotel ni adalah port untuk kita tengok sunset view around 7 pm macam tu memang nampak jelas #staycation #familyvacation #langkawibeaches

La Villa by Holiday Villa, Cherating. Getting There - By car from kuala lumpur takes about 3 hours drive. Attractions - Villa by the beach. It’s walking distance. Hotels - 2 bedroom villa with private pool. The room was super duper cozy and clean. Service check in super fast. The receptionist was friendly. We arrived early around 2pm. They allowed us to check in early 😍. We checked out 1pm. Hotel deposit: RM 100. Service and Amenities: 10/10. Food & Restaurants - We went for seafood restaurant called Tong Juan Seafood, Kemaman.
